NTPC Sail Power Company Limited (NSPCL) is a joint venture between two Maharatnas—NTPC Limited and SAIL. NSPCL operates business units in three locations: Bhilai, Durgapur, and Rourkela, with a total installed capacity of 1,104 MW. The company supplies power to SAIL units, the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, the Union Territory of Daman & Diu, and Chhattisgarh.
Additionally, NSPCL is expanding into green energy with plans for a 530 MW solar project. Applications are now invited from eligible, bright, dynamic, and enterprising candidates to join NSPCL in the following positions:

Eligibility
Salary
Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training program at any NSPCL project or as arranged by NSPCL, during which they will receive a consolidated stipend of ₹24,000 per month. Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be absorbed into the pay scale of W7 Grade (₹24,000 - 3%).
Place of Posting
The selected candidates will be assigned to specific locations based on identified needs. However, NSPCL reserves the right to reassign candidates to any of its projects or stations, including subsidiaries and joint venture companies, as required.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the General category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹300. Candidates from SC/ST/PwBD/SM categories and female candidates are exempt from this fee.
Payments must be made online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. The online payment option will be available on the website. Please note that the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, so candidates are advised to verify their eligibility before making the payment.
Selection Procedure
Eligible candidates will need to take an online test that includes an Aptitude Test with 50 questions covering General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning, followed by a Technical Knowledge Test with 70 questions specific to their discipline.
Please note that there will be negative marking for incorrect answers—each question carries one (1) mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The qualifying marks are set at 40% for the General/EWS category and 30% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates. A merit list will be created for candidates who achieve qualifying marks in both tests separately, with appointment offers made based on merit.

Please read the instructions carefully and complete the online application form with accurate information. After successful registration, a Unique Registration Number will be generated by the system. Candidates should keep a printout of the Registration slip generated after registration.
