Eligibility Criteria

Contractual Instrumentation Technician

  • Education: Class 10 from a Government Recognized Education Board.
  • Certification: Trade certificate in Instrument Mechanic from a Government Recognized Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience post-qualification in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, or Public Limited Organizations.

Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic

  • Education: Class 10 from a Government Recognized Education Board.
  • Certification: Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic from a Government Recognized Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience post-qualification in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, or Public Limited Organizations.

Contractual Mechanical Supervisor

  • Education: Class 10 from a Government Recognized Education Board.
  • Certification: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a Government Recognized Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience post-qualification in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, or Public Limited Organizations.

Contractual Electrical Technician

  • Education: Class 10 from a Government Recognized Education Board.
  • Certification: Trade certificate in Electrical from a Government Recognized Institute.
  • Additional Requirement: Valid Electrical Permit for Part (i) & (ii) issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience post-qualification in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, or Public Limited Organizations.

Age Limit

  • Contractual Instrumentation Technician and Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic: Candidates must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit is 30 years for General candidates, 33 years for OBC-NCL candidates, and 35 years for SC/ST candidates.

  • Contractual Mechanical Supervisor: Candidates must be at least 24 years old. The maximum age limit is 45 years for General candidates, 48 years for OBC-NCL candidates, and 50 years for SC/ST candidates.

  • Contractual Electrical Technician: Candidates must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit is 30 years for General candidates, 33 years for OBC-NCL candidates, and 35 years for SC/ST candidates.

Contractual Emolument per month

  • Contractual Instrumentation Technician: The fixed emolument is ₹16,640 per month, which is based on attendance and includes paid leave and holidays. Additionally, there is a variable emolument of ₹640 per day for each working day.
  • Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic: The fixed emolument is ₹16,640 per month, calculated based on attendance, including paid leave and holidays. The variable emolument is ₹640 per day for each working day.
  • Contractual Mechanical Supervisor: The fixed emolument is ₹19,500 per month, which includes paid leave and holidays. The variable emolument is ₹750 per day for each working day.
  • Contractual Electrical Technician: The fixed emolument is ₹16,640 per month, based on attendance and including paid leave and holidays. The variable emolument is ₹640 per day for each working day.

Application Procedure

  • Candidates must register for the Walk-in Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment between 07:00 A.M. and 09:00 A.M. on the scheduled date. Registration will not be allowed outside these hours.
  • No-Objection Certificate from the current employer, in original, if the applicant is employed elsewhere.
  • Candidates should ensure they meet the requisite qualifications, experience, and eligibility conditions before registration.
  • If a candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria, they will not be allowed to participate in the Walk-in Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment.
  • During the process, information will be verified against original documents, and only those meeting the criteria will be allowed to proceed.
  • Candidates without original documents will not be permitted to participate.

Documents Required

  • One recent 3cm x 3cm colored photograph.
  • Original and self-attested photocopies of:
  • Valid Identity Proof and Address Proof from a Government Authority.
  • Admit Card, Marksheet, and Pass Certificate of Class 10 from a Government-Recognized Education Board.
  • Documents/Certificates/Testimonial of essential qualifications, as applicable.
  • Relevant Work Experience Certificate.
  • Valid Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) from a Government Authority, if applicable.
  • Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from a Government Authority, if applicable.
  • Valid Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections from a Government Authority, if applicable.
  • Valid Disability Certificate from a Government Authority, if applicable.
  • Valid Discharge Book/Service and Release Certificate for Ex-Servicemen, if applicable.
  • Any other documents/certificates/testimonials supporting candidature from the Competent Authority.

Selection Procedure

  • The Walk-in Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment will proceed according to the list of registered candidates.
  • To pass the Walk-in Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 50%.
  • Final selection will be based solely on merit, determined by the marks obtained in the Walk-in Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment, among those who secure at least 50%.
