Invitation for Practical Training under Apprentice Act, 1961 (Amended in 1973, 2014, and 2019) for the Year 2024-25

Applications are invited from interested and qualified Graduate Engineers, graduates of general streams, and Diploma Holders for one-year practical training. The training will be conducted in various disciplines as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961 (amended in 1973, 2014, and 2019).

Qualification
- Passed Final Year Degree in Engineering/Technology or Degree in General Streams (i.e. Bachelor Science, commerce, Computer Application) and Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by recognized University/Board of Technical Education of a state.
- However, the selection will be made on tho basis of merit of marks obtained in the Final Year Examination of Degree/Diploma.
- Should not have Training or Job Experience of a period of one year or more after attainment of the qualification.
- Should not have completed more than 5 years after obtaining the Degree/Diploma.
- The Min. age limit is 14 years. There is no upper age limit.
Salary Details
- Graduate Apprentice (Graduate Engineers) - Rs. 9,000/- PM
- Graduate Apprentice (General Streams) - Rs. 9,000/- PM
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma Holders) - Rs. 8,000/- PM
Application Procedure
- The selected apprentices must submit their Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate and original degree/diploma documents upon joining.
- Selected apprentices are required to sign a contract according to regulations.
- Requests for employment in the factory after training completion will not be considered.
- Other terms and conditions under the Apprentice Act, 1961 (amended in 1973, 2014, and 2019) apply to all apprentices.
- Interested candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria may apply for Graduate Apprentice/Technician Apprentice by July 20, 2024, using the prescribed format.
- Only applications in the prescribed proforma will be accepted.
- Applications received after July 20, 2024, for any reason including postal delays, will not be considered by Ordnance Factory Chanda.
