Patna High Court Recruitment 2024 for Foreman
The Patna High Court is hiring for the position of Foreman in 2024. There are two openings available for this role, one for the Unreserved category and one for the Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) category. Candidates interested in applying should do so online through the official website, patnahighcourt.gov.in between May 31st and June 21st, 2024.
It's important to note that only one application per candidate is allowed, and any multiple applications will not be considered. Also, applicants must participate in all stages of the examination process, and no exemptions will be granted. The exact date for the written test will be announced later.
The selected candidates will initially serve on probation for one year, subject to the rules and conditions of the Patna High Court. The salary for this position is in Level 5 of the pay matrix of the 7th Pay Commission, along with other allowances as per rules. Age Limit
Minimum Age:
Candidates applying for the post of Foreman (Motor Car Garage) must be at least 18 years old as of January 1st, 2024. This means candidates should have been born on or before January 1st, 2006.
Maximum Age Limits by Category:
Unreserved (Male): Up to 37 years (born on or after January 2nd, 1987).
Unreserved (Female): Up to 40 years (born on or after January 2nd, 1984).
EBC (Male & Female): Up to 40 years (born on or after January 2nd, 1984).
Age Relaxation: Candidates currently employed under the Central Government or Government of Bihar can avail a relaxation of up to 5 years in the upper age limit.
Exemptions from Age Limit: The age limit does not apply to individuals already employed in the High Court establishment, those engaged on daily wages, or those working in subordinate courts under this High Court or on deputation.
Qualification
Educational Requirements:
As of January 1st, 2024, applicants must meet the following essential qualifications:
(i) Completion of Intermediate (12th grade) from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Possession of a Certificate in Mechanic (Motor Vehicles) trade from an Industrial Training Institute recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.
(iii) At least two years of practical experience in the relevant field.
