Pay Scale

Level-16 of Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC
Salary: Rs. 2,05,400 - 2,24,400

Location

New Delhi

Age Limit

Not exceeding 58 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

Eligibility Criteria

Promotion/Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract)

Group "A" Officers of All India Services or Central Services:

Holding analogous posts regularly or
With one year of regular service in Higher Administrative Grade (Level 15: Rs. 1,82,200 - Rs. 2,24,100) or
With four years of regular service in Level 14 (Rs. 1,44,200 - Rs. 2,18,200) and impaneled as Joint Secretary to the Government of India.
Experience in media, mass communication, or public administration.

Officers of Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions:

Holding analogous posts regularly or
With one year of regular service in Level 15 or equivalent or
With four years of regular service in Level 14 or equivalent.
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 25 years in a post or above Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500) with at least 15 years in senior executive positions in media, mass communication, policy planning, or public administration with a proven track record.

Application Procedure

Circulation: The vacancy circular should be circulated to all eligible officers in Ministries/Departments, States/Union Territories, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, and recognized Research Institutions.
Submission: Applications in the enclosed proforma at Annexure-II (in duplicate) must be sent to the Deputy Director (PBRB Cell), PB Secretariat, 8th Floor, Tower "C", PB House, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi.
Documents Required:
- Complete CR dossiers (up-to-date)
- Photocopies of the last 5 years ACRs/APARs duly attested
- Vigilance clearance with certification of no disciplinary or criminal proceedings
- Integrity Certificate
- List of major/minor penalties, if any, or a No Penalty Certificate

Important Instructions

Applications should be forwarded through the proper channel.
Candidates who applied for the 2023 vacancies must apply afresh for the 2024 vacancies.
