Applications are invited to create a panel for three Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) positions on a contract basis, including two Un-Reserved (UR) and one Scheduled Caste (SC) position. The roles involve fixed hourly remuneration at the Reserve Bank of India’s dispensaries in Hyderabad, located at RBI Officers Quarters-Ameerpet, RBI Staff Quarter-Yellareddyguda, and RBI Staff Quarters-Musheerabad.

Eligible candidates should send their applications to the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India, 6-1-56, Secretariat Road, Saifabad, Hyderabad-500 004, by 5:00 PM on September 11, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine, as approved by the Medical Council of India.
- The applicant should have at least two years of experience as a medical practitioner in a hospital or clinic.
- Candidates must submit a Caste Certificate, if applicable, issued in the prescribed format by the Competent Authority along with their application.
- The applicant should have a dispensary or residence within approximately 3-5 km of the Bank’s dispensaries at the specified locations.
- The empanelment or contract will be for three years, with no renewal upon completion. A new empanelment process will be conducted after three years, allowing existing doctors to apply under the new terms and conditions.
Remuneration
- The remuneration for the Bank’s Medical Consultant on a contract basis will be fixed at ₹1,000 per hour for the entire contract period of three years. This rate is all-inclusive.
- Of the total monthly remuneration, ₹1,000 per month will be allocated for conveyance expenses.
- An additional ₹1,000 per month will be provided to cover mobile charges.
- The Reserve Bank of India reserves the right to review and adjust the remuneration rate, alter duty hours, and change the assigned dispensary based on administrative and operational needs.
- Selected candidates may be required to attend different dispensaries as directed by the Bank, with a maximum of 30 hours per week, depending on requirements.
Selection Procedure
- The Bank will conduct interviews for shortlisted candidates, and selection will be based on these interviews. The Bank reserves the right to adjust minimum eligibility criteria to limit the number of interviewees. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview.
- The Bank will not correspond with applicants who are not selected for an interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination and document verification before being appointed as Bank’s Medical Consultants. Applicants must bear the cost of the medical examination.
- Final appointment is contingent on the candidate being found medically fit and agreeing to the Bank's Terms and Conditions.
- Selected candidates must sign a contract agreement with the Bank before commencing their role as Bank’s Medical Consultant (on a contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration.

The application should be sent in a sealed cover superscribed as: ‘Application for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’.
