  • Shortlisting: Up to 8 times the ALP vacancies per category will proceed based on CBT II performance.

  • No Penalties: No penalty for wrong answers.
  • Merit List: Only CBAT-passing candidates are considered.
  • Weightage: Part A CBT II marks count for 70%, while CBAT marks count for 30% in the merit list.

Selection Process

Stage Description
CBT Stage-1 Preliminary screening test with 75 questions on Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness of Current Affairs. Duration: 60 minutes.
CBT Stage-2 Divided into Part A and Part B. Part A has 100 questions on Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering, and General Awareness of Current Affairs. Duration: 90 minutes. Part B has 75 questions on Relevant Trade. Duration: 60 minutes.
Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) For ALP posts only. Tests psychomotor skills and presence of mind. Minimum qualifying marks: 42 in each section. No negative marking.
Document Verification Verification of original documents to confirm the candidate's eligibility and authenticity.
Medical Examination Includes vision tests, fitness tests, and other health assessments to ensure candidates are medically fit for the duties of an ALP.
