The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals and other specified nationals for various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) positions.

- Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Station Master: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Goods Train Manager: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent; typing proficiency in English/Hindi on a computer is essential.
- Senior Clerk Cum Typist: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent; typing proficiency in English/Hindi on a computer is essential.

- Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor: Rs. 35400
- Station Master: Rs. 35400
- Goods Train manager: Rs. 29200
- Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist: Rs. 29200
- Senior Clerk Cum Typist: Rs. 29200
Age Limit
The lower and upper age limits for the positions listed in the Vacancy Table will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.
- Prescribed Age in Normal Course (as of January 1, 2025): 18-33 years
- Age Applicable to This CEN (as of January 1, 2025): 18-36 years
Examination Fee
- For all candidates except those in fee concession categories, a fee of Rs 500 is applicable. Of this, Rs 400 will be refunded (after deducting bank charges) upon appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
- For candidates who are PwBD, female, transgender, ex-servicemen, or belong to SC/ST/minority communities/economically backward classes, a fee of Rs 250 is applicable. This fee will also be refunded (after applicable bank charges) upon appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
Selection Method
- Candidates must submit only one ONLINE application (common for all notified posts in the selected RRB) through the link provided on the official RRB websites.
- The recruitment process will consist of the following stages: 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (if applicable), and Document Verification/Medical Examination.
- Selection will be made strictly based on merit from these recruitment stages.
- The date, time, and venue for all activities, including CBTs, Typing Skill Tests/Computer Based Aptitude Tests, Document Verification, Medical Examinations, and any other applicable activities, will be determined by the RRBs and communicated to eligible candidates in due course.
- Requests for postponement or changes in the venue, date, or shift for any of these activities will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Application Procedure
- Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria for the positions by the closing date of online registration, which is October 13, 2024. Those awaiting final results for the required educational qualifications should not apply.
- Before completing the online application, candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions and information in the Central Employment Notification (CEN) available on the RRB websites.
- Applications must be submitted ONLINE ONLY through the designated RRB websites listed. Candidates need to submit only one application to their chosen RRB for all notified posts under this CEN. Each candidate may apply to only one RRB; applying to more than one will result in the rejection of all applications. Any attempt to submit multiple applications for this CEN will lead to disqualification and debarment.
- Online payment will be available until 11:59 PM on October 15, 2024, for candidates who successfully register by 11:59 PM on October 13, 2024. After making the payment, candidates should submit their applications by 11:59 PM on October 15, 2024.
