The Sports Authority of India is inviting applications for the position of Consultant (Finance) on a contract basis. This opportunity is open to retired professionals and the engagement will be for a one-year term.

Eligibility Criteria

• Post Name: Consultant (Finance)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Must be under 64 years as of August 10, 2024 (closing date)
• Essential Qualifications: Minimum of five years of experience in finance, accounts, or audit with any Central Government organization (e.g., Central Ministry, attached/subordinate office, autonomous body, PSU). Familiarity with Government of India guidelines and GFR 2017.
• Term of Engagement: One year

Nature of Work

Retired officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or Statutory Bodies under Central/State Government, with experience in the following areas, are eligible to apply for the Consultant (Finance) position:

• Administrative/Personnel Matters: Experience in pay fixation, leave travel concession (LTC), retirement benefits, travel allowance/dearness allowance (TA/DA), medical claims, etc.
• Procurement of Services: Expertise in service procurement processes.
• General Administration: Knowledge of financial aspects of general administration, adhering to current rules and guidelines.
• Additional Administrative Tasks: Ability to handle other administrative tasks as assigned by the competent authority, reporting officer, or head of the division.

Selection Process

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for an interview. Selection will be based on the recommendations of the appointed Interview Committee.
