SSC
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organization in India that hires people for different jobs in government offices. It is part of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and is led by a chairman, two members, and a secretary-cum-controller of examinations.
SSC conducts exams for various posts in ministries, departments, and agencies of the Indian government. In January 2023, SSC made a historic decision to hold its Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff exam in 13 Indian languages, along with Hindi and English, to ensure inclusivity for candidates across the country's linguistic diversity.
