UCO Bank Recruitment 2024
UCO Bank is seeking applications from candidates to engage as apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961 (as amended). Interested candidates are required to apply online via the website https://nats.education.gov.in. UCO Bank invites applications for apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961, offering a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month across India.

Applicants must hold a graduate degree by July 1, 2024, and demonstrate proficiency in the local language. The selection process includes screening, interviews, or possibly a written test, with details available on www.ucobank.com. Registration and application are through the NATS portal, with candidates required to apply for engagement in one state only by July 16, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- The candidate must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
- The result of this qualification must have been declared on or before July 1, 2024.
- Candidates must be prepared to submit their mark sheets and provisional/degree certificate issued by the university/institute/college as and when requested by the bank.
Stipend
- During the apprenticeship period, apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000/-, which includes any subsidy provided by the Government of India.
- They are not entitled to any other allowances or benefits. UCO Bank will deposit Rs 10,500/- monthly into the apprentice's account.
- The Government's share of Rs 4,500/- will be directly credited to the apprentice's bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) according to current guidelines.

Test of local language
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of the State they are applying for.
- This language test is an integral part of the selection process and will occur during document verification. Failure to pass this test will disqualify candidates from the apprentice program.
- Candidates who can provide proof (such as a mark sheet/certificate from 10th or 12th standard) showing that they have studied the local language are exempt from this language test.
Training Hours

- The daily hours of training will be as applicable to the clerical staff of the Bank.
Age Limit
- Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.07.2024 i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive)
- Maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates

Selection Process
- Selection process involves screening and personal interview, or potentially a written test at the Bank's discretion, particularly in case of high application volume.
- If a written test is conducted, details including registration link, fee payment, and test information will be available on www.ucobank.com->careers.
- Candidates must register for the written test to participate; failure to register disqualifies further participation.
- The screening committee verifies eligibility criteria; no correspondence regarding eligibility will be entertained.
- Minimum qualifying marks apply for interview/written test; SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates have a 5% relaxation.
- Merit list will be State-wise and category-wise; tie-breaking based on age in descending order if scores are identical.
- Bank reserves the right to modify selection criteria, method, and allotment, and to reject applications not meeting requirements without explanation.

- Register and complete profile on NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/Student login) if not already done.
- Refer to the list of required documents for enrollment available on the NATS portal under the "Student Register" section; ensure all documents are prepared before starting the registration.
- Fill out Basic Information, Education Details, Communication Details, Training Details, and Bank Details to finalize your profile.
- Refer to the Student Manual on the NATS portal for detailed instructions and guidance.
- After completing the registration process, search for "UCO Bank Apprenticeship Engagement" and submit your application.
- Check application status through the application management feature after applying.

- Candidates must apply for engagement in only one state.
