Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is organizing the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) for admission to the 4-year B.Sc. Nursing Course for the academic session 2024-25. This test covers admission to: a) All Government/Private Nursing Colleges Affiliated to ABVMU b) SGPGIMS, Lucknow c) KGMU, Lucknow d) RMLIMS, Lucknow e) UPUMS, Saifai f) LLRM, Meerut

For the academic year 2024-25, all admissions to the B.Sc. Nursing Course in the institutions/universities listed above will be conducted exclusively through the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET).

Eligibility Criteria

Age

Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024, to be eligible for admission.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (10+2) with Science stream.
  2. They should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) combined, with passing marks in English individually, from a recognized board.
  3. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum marks required in PCB are 40% instead of 45% for General Category candidates.
  4. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for admission to B.Sc. Nursing.
  5. Candidates from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) with Science subjects and English only are also eligible.
  6. Colorblind candidates can apply but must wear color corrective contact lenses or glasses.
  7. Applicants need to be medically fit as determined by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO.
  8. Married candidates are also eligible for admission.

How to Apply?

  1. Go to abvmuup.edu.in and find the link for the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) 2024-25.

  2. Click on the "Register" button for B.Sc. Nursing and fill in your details.

  3. During registration, you'll need to give:

    • First, Middle, and Last Name (as per your Class 10th Certificate)
    • Father's and Mother's Names (as per your Class 10th Certificate)
    • Date of Birth (as per your Class 10th Certificate)
    • Gender
    • Email Address (for future updates)
    • Mobile Number (for SMS updates)
    • Category and Sub-Category
  4. Check all the information you've provided before submitting. Once submitted, you can't change it.

  5. After confirming, you'll get two separate verification codes on your email and mobile. Make sure to enter them correctly.

  6. You can only use one mobile number and email for one registration.

  7. Once registered, you'll receive a unique Registration ID and a one-time login password on your mobile and email.

  8. The details you provided during registration will automatically fill in the application form's Personal Information Section (Stage 1).

  9. The information given during registration cannot be changed later, so make sure it's accurate.

Important Note

Make sure to follow the below-mentionted instructions while filling the application.

  • The information you provide in the application form, like your name, date of birth, gender, and parents' names, should exactly match your Class 10th certificate.
  • Your Registration ID is unique to you. Keep it safe and don't share it with anyone else.
  • If you forget your Registration ID, you can click on "Forgot Registration ID Number" to receive it via SMS or email on your registered mobile number or email address.
