WBJEE Counselling 2024 Round 1 Allotment Result

WBJEEB will release the WBJEE 2024 Round 1 seat allotment today, July 23, 2024. The updated seat allotment link will be available on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. To view the results, candidates will need their roll number and password. The registration and choice filling for Round 1 concluded on July 21.

Candidates who have passed the WBJEE exam are eligible to participate in the counseling process, which includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the college. The revised WBJEE 2024 counseling schedule can be checked on the official page.

WBJEE Counselling 2024 Step by Procedure

Step 1: WBJEE Registration

  • Visit the official WBJEE Counseling 2024 website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
  • Click on the WBJEE counseling registration link.
  • Select “New Candidate Registration.”
  • Choose to register through WBJEE, JEE Main, or both.

    • If registering through WBJEE, enter your application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
    • If registering through JEE Main, provide your application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
    • If registering through both exams, enter details for each.
  • Click on “Submit.”

Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee

  • After registration, pay the WBJEE 2024 counseling fee online using debit card, credit card, or net banking.
  • Note that the counseling fee is non-refundable.

Step 3: Filling and Locking of Choices

  • Log in to fill and lock your choices for colleges and courses in the order of preference.
  • Ensure that you edit and lock your choices before the deadline. The system will automatically lock the last saved choices if not done manually.
  • Print a copy of your filled choices for future reference.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

  • Seats will be allotted based on merit, preferences, and seat availability.
  • Three rounds of seat allotment are expected. Check your allotment status online by logging in with your credentials.
  • No physical allotment letters will be sent. To download the online seat allotment letter, pay the seat acceptance fee either online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline (e-challan of Allahabad Bank).

Step 5: Document Verification

  • Report to your designated reporting center for document verification and fee payment.
  • Present the following documents for verification:

    • WBJEE 2024 result or rank card.
    • WBJEE 2024 provisional allotment letter.
    • Confirmation page of WBJEE 2024.
    • 10th standard admit card or certificate for age and name verification.
    • 10th standard mark sheet for English subject marks verification.
    • Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates).
    • Physically challenged certificate for PwD category candidates.
    • Income certificate (if applicable).
    • Domicile certificate (if applicable).
    • JEE Main 2024 result (if applicable).
    • 'Yes Upgradation' or 'No Upgradation' option form.
