A Plague Tale: Requiem is a new video game made by a company called Asobo Studio. It's the follow-up to a game called A Plague Tale: Innocence from 2019. The story is about two brothers and sisters, Amicia and Hugo, who are trying to find a cure for Hugo's illness in Southern France.

They have to hide from soldiers and lots of rats that are spreading a bad sickness. The game came out on October 18, 2022, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. People who review games liked it, and at a big event called The Game Awards in 2022, it got nominated for five awards, even for Game of the Year.

In "A Plague Tale: Requiem," set in 1349, Amicia and Hugo, along with their mother and friend Lucas, flee to the Order seeking refuge from the deadly Prima Macula. A confrontation with hostile beekeepers triggers chaos, forcing them to sail to La Cuna, guided by Hugo's dreams.

On the island, they discover a cult worshipping the Macula. The journey unfolds with betrayal, sacrifices, and a tragic revelation about Hugo's connection to the Macula. As they battle enemies and the plague, Amicia faces heartbreaking choices. In the end, Hugo sacrifices himself to halt the rat-infested terror. A year later, Amicia honors Hugo's memory while hints of the Macula resurface in a modern-day post-credits scene.
