Detective Kate Gray and Aaron Murphy enjoy a night out watching magician Gail the Great. However, Murphy's wallet disappears during a trick.

• Investigation Begins:

  • Talk to Harry the magician.
  • Open a box and take the magician’s cane.
  • Examine the poster on the wall with card images.

• Spotlight and Ladder:

  • Use the cane to pull down a ladder.
  • Murphy climbs the ladder and turns on the spotlight.

• Combination Lock:

  • Tap on the locked chest revealed by the spotlight.
  • Use the card clues from the poster (9 of clubs, 4 of hearts, 8 of spades, 3 of diamonds) to unlock it: 4839.

• Finding the Wallet:

  • Find a box cutter after moving some items.
  • Discover Murphy’s wallet, but the driver’s license is missing.

• Talking to Gail:

  • Show Harry the wallet; he suggests talking to Gail.
  • Attempt to enter Gail's dressing room, but she won't open.

• Vent Entry:

  • Decide to climb through the vent.
  • Pick up a wheel and attach it to a poster board to wheel it aside.

• Vent Puzzle:

  • Cut the rope holding a moon.
  • Open a cabinet to get a drawer key.
  • Solve the vent puzzle, guiding Kate and Murphy to green tiles.

• Inside the Dressing Room:

  • Find a magician token, gold mask, and green wig.
  • Use a dagger to cut open a sewn vest pocket.
  • Take a desk key from the pocket.

• Desk and Tablet:

  • Unlock the desk drawer with the key and retrieve a tablet and heart pendant.
  • Place the tablet in the charging station and the heart pendant in a locked jewelry box.

• Makeup and Mirror:

  • Obtain makeup and a black mask.
  • Rub makeup on the mirror to reveal the word "HOCUS."

• Tablet Passcode:

  • Enter "HOCUS" or 35177 as the passcode to unlock the tablet.

• Revelations:

  • Discover texts between Elias Legrand and Gail; Murphy was targeted.
  • Examine four photos and open a hatch using a remote lock app.

• Trap Door and Red Wig:

  • Find a red wig under the trap door.
  • Solve the mannequin heads puzzle by arranging masks and wigs chronologically.

  • Discover a membership card for Smoke & Mirrors inside the vent.
