Aggelos Walkthrough

This is a walkthrough guide for the game Aggelos for Nintendo Switch, aimed at achieving 100% completion. The guide starts with an introduction by Joseph Della Ventura (Jr.) and explains that the completion percentage is determined by killing all enemies, finding all items, and opening all treasure chests.

The walkthrough begins in the Lumen Woods, where the player starts in their house and explores the area, fighting enemies and collecting items. The guide then takes the player to Bosco Village, where they can interact with NPCs, buy potions, and obtain new equipment. The walkthrough continues through various areas such as Lumen Woods (part 2), Bosco Cave, Earth Temple, and Atlant Village.

Throughout the walkthrough, the guide provides information on enemy encounters, item locations, and important points of interest. It mentions boss battles, the acquisition of new abilities and magic rings, and the interaction with various characters. The guide also suggests detours to obtain additional items and explains the purpose of certain areas or objects that will become relevant later in the game.

The walkthrough covers multiple areas and provides guidance on how to progress through the game while achieving 100% completion.

We can't do anything at the first door yet. Let's drop down to the save point in Fira Village. Proceed to the item shop and purchase a Big Potion for 500 gems. I'm unsure if this counts towards 100% completion, as we can obtain an Elixir later in a regular chest, which is a higher-tier healing item.

Now, there's not much to do at the bottom door as the lizard won't give us the key until later. We'll come back to it. Entering the tavern doesn't offer much at the moment either, aside from a few people to talk to. To the left, there's a silver gate near the save point that leads to a chest and an area where the volcano entrance is located. It's important to note that we can't enter the holes scattered throughout the town until later. Let's exit the village to the right and make our way to the top.

At the top, there's a wooden structure that we can burn, but we can't do it yet because we need the Fire Ring. This path will lead us to new abilities, enemies, weapons inside enemies, and even a heart container that we can buy for 150,000. For now, let's exit to the left and head to the armor shop. Here, we should buy the Dragon Armor for 6,000 gems, as it is necessary to traverse the volcano. After leaving the shop, exit the town to the left, then go left again and work your way up to enter the door to the Volcano.

Volcano

Upon exiting the door, we'll encounter enemies such as the Walking Volcano, Tick, and Fire Geyser. We should follow the path, and if we choose to go left, there are some signs to read. Instead, let's go down to the maze area to obtain a new weapon. After entering the maze, we should exit down, then go right, left, down, and right to reach a red chest containing the Dragon Sword. Let's exit left and continue right, left, right, right, and down to reach a new area.

In this new area, we'll notice a regular chest that we can't access until we acquire the Fire Ring or Air Ring, which we'll obtain later. Let's drop down and head left. Soon, we'll come across small platforms that we can navigate to reach the top and exit upwards, leading us to a safe point called Fira Volcano. Exiting right twice will take us back to the entrance area of the maze. Instead, let's exit left and encounter an enemy called Homing Head. After defeating it, let's exit left again.

The next room might seem a bit chaotic. As you head left, you'll encounter dropping fireballs. Keep moving left, avoiding them, and hit the switch. Now, backtrack and head up, using earth magic to hit the switch again. Jump up, hit the next switch, and continue onward.

Hit the switch to stop the flow of lava. If we exit left, there's a block that won't move yet, so let's avoid it. Instead, let's go past the flame we just stopped and hit the switch with our sword. Then, we can make our way up by standing on the red blocks, using earth magic again, and quickly jumping and attacking upward. Go down the tube and exit left. Head left to find a regular chest containing a key.

Exit right, then head right and drop down through a small slot. Exit right, use the key on the door, and exit left. Jump over the gap and head left to step on a switch. (This is the switch I mentioned at the beginning.

In the third room, you need to collect all the sparkles while navigating through bubbles that allow you to jump and float down. You'll need to let go of some jumps to descend faster and collect everything. At the end of the room, you'll need to perform a jump attack to reach the last sparkles. Once you collect them all, a bridge appears, and you can exit to the fourth room.

In the fourth room, you need to use the portal and jump attack method to reach a chest. Create a portal to your left, then perform a jump and a jump attack to reach the higher platform. From there, enter the left portal and perform another jump attack to reach safety. Exit to the right to reach the fifth room.

The fifth room requires you to use the bounce attack skill to defeat all the enemies. You cannot use magic in this room. If you miss even a single enemy, you'll need to exit left and re-enter to respawn them. The enemies need to be defeated in a specific order, using jump attacks and bounce attacks. Be careful not to accidentally kill the next enemy above you, or you'll have to start over. Once all enemies are defeated, you can exit to the right and proceed to the sixth and final room.

In the sixth room, you need to hit a switch to regain magic. Then, you need to hit the switch multiple times until the color red is solid. Throw a fireball and time the switch hits with your sword to hit the fireball towards the switch on the right. After that, you can exit down, but before leaving, you should speak with Combat Instructor Woodpecker and obtain the Woodpecker Scroll. Finally, speak with the statue and leave the room.

After completing the sixth room, you can head up and left to return to Fira Village. From there, save your progress and warp to The Wall. Exit up and head right to enter a music note door, where you can speak with a person to have them make you the Lyre for 1000 gems. After acquiring the Lyre, leave the village and witness a cutscene. Stronger monsters will now appear.

Next, warp to Palulu Town and exit to the left. Stand on top of the tower and play the Lyre to make it rise. Enter the tower and continue to the right, where you'll encounter a new enemy called a Watcher. From there, you'll need to complete various tasks, including navigating through Babel Tower, Celestia Area, Pillar Time, Monkey Time, and Dark Clouds.

In Babel Tower, you'll need to step on switches that correspond to Roman numerals. In Celestia Area, you can play the Lyre on top of the tower to gain additional hearts. In Pillar Time, you'll need to push giant pillars onto green bases. In Monkey Time, you'll need to bring a monkey back to Fira Village. Finally, in Dark Clouds, you'll face off against a boss named Geezia and continue exploring various areas. After completing these tasks, you'll acquire items such as the Sacred Sword of Aggelos, the Light Essence, and the Air Essence. You'll also obtain new equipment, fight bosses, and solve puzzles along the way.
