The creation of a ghastly horror story, a narrative entwined with an FBI agent named Saga Anderson.

Alan Wake 2 Come Up With A New Plan

  • Speak to Casey and Estevez, exhaust all dialogue options, and obtain the Prison Cell Key from Estevez. Add conversation clues to the Alan Wake 2 Case Board.

  • Use the Prison Cell Key to access the Sheriff's Station stash.

  • Examine the files on the desk: "FBC file on Cauldron Lake threshold to another reality" and "FBC file on capabilities of light switch object – The Clicker." Collect both files.

  • Add the three FBC file clues to the "Wake and the Clicker" case on the board. Barbara Jagger clue relates to the "Scratch? Or Wake?" investigation, the Cauldron Lake threshold clue links to "How to Rescue Wake?" investigation, and the Clicker capabilities clue joins with "Clicker still useful?" investigation.

  • Add any additional clues to the case board.

  • Profile Tor on "Trusting Wake" to learn about the Clicker.

  • Ask Estevez about the Clicker and add the gained clue to the Case Board.

  • Profile Tor again, this time on "Rescuing Wake" to formulate Saga's rescue plan using the Clicker.

  • Share the rescue plan with Estevez and Casey.

Alan Wake 2 Gameplay

Alan Wake II is different from the first game. In Alan Wake II, you play a survival horror game from a third-person perspective. You can be either Alan Wake or Saga Anderson, and their stories can be played in any order, but the beginning and end of the game can only be played as Saga and Alan.

In this game, you explore and fight enemies using guns and a flashlight. You can focus the flashlight to make enemies vulnerable, but it uses up its battery, so you have to be careful with it. You also need to manage your limited supply of batteries and bullets to survive. When enemies get too close, Alan or Saga can dodge to avoid them.

Alan Wake II has a detective element. When playing as Saga, you can pause the game and go to a safe place called the "Mind Place." It's like a 3D menu that shows Saga's thoughts. In the Mind Place, you can connect clues on a pin board to solve the main mystery and profile characters to gather more clues.

Alan Wake 2 Plot

In Alan Wake II, FBI profiler Saga Anderson and her partner investigate murders in Bright Falls. They find a manuscript predicting the future. As they chase a former FBI agent's killer, they encounter strange events and dark forces. Saga communicates with an alternate world called the Dark Place and learns about the Clicker, a powerful item. They try to summon the real Alan Wake from the Dark Place. In the end, Saga banishes the evil presence and seemingly defeats it. In a post-credits scene, there's a cryptic message hinting at a new twist.
