Performance Scene:
As the game kicks off, Alan is more in control of his nightmarish reality. Players should wait for the TV to become interactable and then follow the on-screen prompts. While it may seem like Alan is in control, the unfolding musical scenes may leave you questioning his dominance. Keep progressing through the sensory overload, and follow the live actors' cues if you get stuck.
Award Ceremony & Equipment:
Upon reaching the end of this area, interact with the TV to proceed to an award ceremony that is also a musical. Head towards the back left of the room to find a large ladder, walk along the catwalk, and use the Angel Lamp to reveal a path forward. After descending the ladder, players will find a flashlight and a gun on the ground. It's crucial to note that you're still in the studio, so keep moving forward and follow neon signs for the Getaway Club.
Musical Scene & Gear:
Follow the path forward through the gate, and look for a ladder that goes up. The live actors will continue to point the way. At the top of the ladder, players will discover a replica of the Writer's Room with a typewriter and a flare gun. You'll need this flare gun to deal with the Taken enemies that appear. Remember that a single shot can eliminate multiple Taken if they group up.
Returning to the Studio:
Keep following the path until you reach another replica of the Writer's Room. Interact with the TV to return to the studio. Proceed through the door, activate the Echo for a new musical number, and climb the seemingly endless ladder. Here, you'll come across a storyboard for the Herald of Darkness. Place the Song's End storythread onto the scene to spawn a TV for interaction.
Finale:
After one final live-action musical scene, head towards the exit, passing Ahti, who mumbles lyrics but can't be engaged in conversation. Save your game and head toward the door, leading outside.
Towards Ocean View Hotel:
As Alan shares a monologue, make your way to the ringing payphone. After the call, look for the neon sign reading "Oceanview Hotel" on the left. Enter the hotel and navigate the hallway.
Alternative Route:
It might seem too easy at first, but any attempt to enter the hotel this way will result in failure. Players will find themselves back at the hotel's entrance. Instead, leave the hotel and search for the neon sign that says "Mirror Peak Bar." Follow the arrows to the right down the alley to trigger a cutscene, concluding the current chapter.
