Persona 5 Tactica

Persona 5 Tactica is an upcoming game from the Persona series, part of the Megami Tensei franchise. It's set to come out on various consoles in November 2023. The game follows the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from Persona 5, who find themselves in a troubled world filled with war and oppression.

To fight against the oppressive Legionnaires, they team up with a group called the Rebel Corps. The gameplay involves strategy and RPG elements, including grid-based movement and turn-based combat, and keeps key features like summoning Personas and using their powers. Atlus decided to create this game to explore strategy RPGs within the Persona series, drawing from their past experience in this game style and the world of Persona 5

All Persona 5 Tactica Playable Characters

Erina:

• The Persona-less, Premiering Protagonist
• Erina's Character Card from Persona 5 Tactica in which she poses with a spear and a handgun.
• Erina (Elle in the Japanese version) is P5T’s newest arrival, introducing players to the game mechanics. She has decent base stats, especially in attack damage, but poor movement and low range. Unable to summon a Persona, she relies on others to create openings.

Haru:

• Haru, known for her high-damage rocket launcher and psychic-type Persona Milady, inflicts severe punishment in Persona 5 Tactica's gun-focused gameplay. Milady's Psio skills, while situationally useful, may not be as versatile as some other Personas.

Morgana:

• Morgana serves as a mascot with exceptional speed in Tactica. His gun and wind-elemental damage, along with Garu skills, provide situational advantages, especially in positional play.

Joker:

• Joker, the original protagonist of Persona 5, can equip a second Sub-Persona in Persona 5 Tactica. While no longer a wild card, Joker's base stats and long-range special attack, Phantom Judge, make him a powerful ally. P5T turns Joker into more of a support character with defense-raising skills like Rakukaja.

Yusuke:

• Yusuke's gun skills and ice-elemental Bufu skills make him one of the best characters in P5T. His skills have the potential to freeze enemies, lowering their movement speed and creating strategic advantages.

Ryuji:

• And Captain Kidd
• Persona 5 Royal Ryuji
• Ryuji's sheer physical damage and shotgun specialization in Persona 5 Tactica make him a top character. His special move, Brigantine Blitzkrieg, stops enemy movement, creating opportunities for teammates.

Makoto:

• And Johanna

• Makoto excels in melee-focused combat in P5T, with a special AoE attack called Full Throttle. She serves as a formidable damage dealer and a support character with healing skills.

Ann:

• Ann's Persona skill damage makes her the best playable character in Persona 5 Tactica. Carmen's fire-elemental abilities and Ann's access to buffs and a passive bonus for SP regeneration make her indispensable in any fight.

Persona 5 Tatica Gameplay 

Persona 5 Tactica is a strategy game where you control a group of characters in battles against enemies. The player's team includes members of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and Erina, the leader of the Rebel Corps. During battles, you can attack enemies directly or choose actions from a menu. Your characters can use guns for ranged attacks or summon their Personas, which have special abilities.

Using these abilities costs Skill Points. Similar to Persona 5, these skills use different types of magic attacks. If you hit an enemy's weakness, you get another turn to attack. There's also a special move called "Triple Threat" that deals big damage to weakened enemies when surrounded by your allies.

Apart from fighting, you can collect more Personas for Joker, the leader. He can use many Personas due to his "Wild Card" ability. You can get new Personas by talking to them in battle or fusing different ones together. The game's story happens across three kingdoms, each inspired by real historical revolutions.
