1. Jiro Horikoshi - The Wind Rises  

Jiro Horikoshi is the main character in the anime film ‘The Wind Rises’. In real life, Jiro Horikoshi was a Japanese aircraft designer who lived from 1903 to 1982. He was known for his work in designing fighter planes for Mitsubishi during World War II. 

In the anime ‘ The Wind Rises’ Jiro is a talented engineer who dreams of creating beautiful planes. He faced many troubles but still Jiro stands for his passion throughout the anime. 

2. Rurouni Kenshin 

Kenshin Himura is a kind-hearted swordsman. He was a feared assassin during the Meiji Restoration period in Japan. After experiencing the losses of war, he promised that never to kill again and he becomes a wanderer known as a ‘Rurouni’ (which means wandering swordsman). 

Kenshin is seen wearing a tattered red kimono and carrying a reverse-blade sword. He uses to defend himself without killing anyone. Throughout the series, Kenshin seeks to follow justice and peace. 

3. Chiyoko Fujiwara - Millennium Actress 

Chiyoko Fujiwara is the main character in the anime movie "Millennium Actress." She is a famous actress known for her performances. 

The anime has been taken place from the inspirational story of Hideko Takamine who was a famous Japanese actress known for her performances in several films throughout the mid-20th century. She became famous during Japan's golden age of cinema. She lived 50 years alone and died at the  age of 95. And the creator also includes the character of the actress Setsuko Hara.

4. Yoshikage Kira - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 

David Bowie, especially his hairstyle, inspires Yoshikage Kira's appearance in the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Kira's physical appearance and style are derived from Bowie, but his murderous tendencies and obsession with living like a plant are of the creator's imagination.

While Kira's look resembles Bowie's iconic appearance, his actions, and personality differ significantly from Yoshikage Kira, the real-life musician.

5. Coffee - Cowboy Bebop 

An animated character coffee in the series Cowboy Bebopwho appears in one of the episodes called ‘Mushroom Sambo’. 

Coffee is inspired by a character played by Pam Grier in the movie "Coffy." In the episode, Coffee is shown as a bounty hunter pursuing a mushroom farmer involved in illegal activities.

Gordon Agrippa is a character from the anime Black Clover. He is a member of the Black Bulls, a group of magic knights. Gordon is known for his shy and quiet nature. He does not speak much as he has low self-confidence. 

Gordon Agrippa is inspired by the singer Marilyn Manson.

Jewelry Bonny is a character from the anime series One Piece. In real life, Jewelry Bonny would be a stylish individual. 

She is a pirate with the ability to change her age, allowing her to change her appearance and the age of others.

9. Victor Nikiforov - Yuri on Ice 

The character ‘Victor Nikiforov’ from Yuri on Ice is inspired by Evgeni Plushenko, a Soviet skater, and the popular actor John Cameron Mitchell.
