Arknights Gameplay
In Arknights, the gameplay is like a tower defense game, but with special characters called "operators" acting as your towers. Some operators fight up close on the ground, while others attack from a distance. The goal is to place these operators strategically on the game board to stop enemy forces from reaching your base.
You can also use special abilities from your operators to help in battle. It's not a fast-paced game, and you can pause it and take your time to plan your moves. As you progress, you unlock more levels, characters, and resources. If you do well in a level, you can even set it to auto-complete, meaning the game remembers your strategy and repeats it for you.

Arknights Plot
Arknights is set in a world called Terra, which is in a bad place after some big disasters. People in this world have animal-like features, and there's a valuable mineral called originium left behind by those disasters. This mineral causes a sickness called oripathy, but it also gives people special powers called "Arts" or magic. The problem is that oripathy is contagious and deadly, so those who have it are treated badly. Some of them even formed a group called Reunion, and they fight against the powerful governments in Terra.
In the game, you play as a character known as the "Doctor," who wears a mask and has lost their memory. You lead a team of special individuals called "operators" who work for Rhodes Island, an organization that does medical stuff and protects itself. Rhodes Island is searching for a cure for oripathy while also defending against Reunion and the different governments of Terra. It's a story about this struggle in a world filled with magic, sickness, and conflict.
