Assassins Creed Mirage Dervis Artifacts
In the game Assassin's Creed Mirage, Dervis' Artifacts are special items you can find after discovering Nur's Lead during the Ali ibn Muhammad Investigation. These prized artifacts are hidden in the pockets of eighteen people throughout Baghdad.
You can trade these artifacts for valuable upgrade resources like Steel, Leather, and Components. As a special bonus, if you collect all of them, you'll receive a unique Costume. You can spot these artifacts on the map only after you've identified Nur's contact during the investigation.
These items are always carried by specific individuals in the game, some staying in one place, while others move around the same area. To collect them, you'll need to play a Pickpocketing minigame, but if you prefer an easier route, you can use Guaranteed Pickpocketing to succeed every time. Unlike typical loot, you don't sell these artifacts for money; instead, you trade them in batches for those important upgrade resources or the special Costume.

Assassin's Creed Mirage
Assassin's Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game made by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. It's the thirteenth major game in the Assassin's Creed series and comes after the 2020 game, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Although the game's historical setting is before Valhalla, the modern-day story happens after Valhalla's events. The game takes place in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age, specifically during the Anarchy at Samarra.
It follows the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, who was introduced in Valhalla as a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight against the Order of the Ancients. This Order wants peace through control. The main story focuses on Basim's inner struggle between his Hidden One duties and his quest to uncover his mysterious past.
Originally, Mirage was supposed to be an expansion for Valhalla, but it became a standalone game to make it bigger. The game's design focuses on bringing back the series' original elements like stealth, parkour, and assassinations, rather than the recent role-playing features. This makes the game smaller in scale compared to its predecessors but combines elements from both recent and older Assassin's Creed games.
Mirage was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 5, 2023. There's also a mobile version planned for iOS on iPhone 15 Pro models in early 2024. The game received mostly positive reviews from critics, who liked its world design and focus on stealth, although some had criticisms about the characters and the reliance on past games in the series.
Assassin's Creed Mirage Gameplay
Assassin's Creed Mirage is an action-adventure stealth game that brings back the feel of older Assassin's Creed games by focusing more on the story and reducing role-playing elements. In this game, you'll use parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth to navigate and complete your missions. For assassinations, the game uses the "Black Box" design, where you explore your surroundings to find different ways to reach and eliminate your targets.
Most of the action happens in the city of Baghdad, divided into four districts, with additional smaller towns on the outskirts. Unlike recent Assassin's Creed games, the city is smaller, more like those in Unity and Revelations. The main character, Basim, has various weapons and tools, including the Hidden Blade, smoke bombs, throwing knives, and poison darts, which can be upgraded. Basim also has an Eagle Vision and a bird companion named Enkidu.
The game introduces a new skill called "Assassin Focus" for taking down multiple enemies, and you can use poles to cross wide gaps. The game's animations have been improved for better movement and flow, taking inspiration from samurai, ninja, and even Jedi for added mobility.
Assassin's Creed Mirage Plot
After the events in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the modern-day Assassins use Basim Ibn Ishaq's blood to relive his memories during the Abbasid Caliphate era. In 861 CE, Basim is a young thief living in Anbar with his friend Nehal. Basim has been haunted by visions of a monstrous jinni, but his dream is to join the Hidden Ones. After stealing a mysterious artifact, he's pursued by the Caliph al-Mutawakkil. In a twist of fate, Nehal kills the Caliph, and they flee the palace.
In revenge for the Caliph's death, guards attack Anbar, leading Basim to blame Nehal and part ways. He joins the Hidden Ones, and when they discover the Order of the Ancients' growing influence in Baghdad, Basim and Roshan are sent to investigate. Basim takes on four Order members and reunites with Nehal, who urges him to investigate the artifacts the Order seeks.
Basim defies Roshan's warnings, and after confronting the Order's leader, he discovers his true nature as the reincarnated Isu Loki. He decides to embrace this identity and reunite with those responsible for his imprisonment.
