Atlas Fallen

Atlas Fallen is an action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. It was released on August 10, 2023, for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S. The game is being developed by Deck13 Interactive using their in-house engine called "Fledge". Unlike the studio's previous games, Lords of the Fallen and The Surge, Atlas Fallen is not a "Soulslike" game. Instead, it focuses on fast-paced and fluid combat, taking inspiration from games like God of War (2018) and the Horizon series. However, elements from The Surge games, such as a body targeting system, have also been incorporated into Atlas Fallen.

The game offers three difficulty modes, with a hard mode specifically designed for seasoned players of Soulslike games. Deck13 and Focus Entertainment announced Atlas Fallen at Gamescom in August 2022. Originally scheduled for release in May, the game was delayed to August 10, 2023, to allow the development team more time to polish the game and include a full German voice-over at launch. Players who pre-order the game will receive the "Ruin Rising Pack," which includes various cosmetic items and essence stones to enhance their gameplay experience.

Atlas Fallen All Anvil Locations

In the underground expanse of Bastengar in Atlas Fallen, you'll come across Anvils, which not only serve as swift travel points but also facilitate healing, upgrades, and game-saving. There are a total of six Anvils scattered throughout the Bastengar Underground, and for those pursuing thorough completion, locating all of them is essential. Notably, securing all Anvils in Atlas Fallen is the key to unlocking the prestigious Forgemaster Trophy/Achievement.

Anvil 1 (Knight’s Fortress): South of the Fortress

The initial Anvil resides just beyond the fortress's confines, to the south of the region. Upon reaching this spot, approach the floating orb above the green fissures on the ground to reveal the Anvil.

Anvil 2 (Sunken City): Middle of the Region

Located at the second marked position on the map, the second Anvil is positioned in the center of the region. Similar to the first Anvil, approach the airborne green orb and unearth the Anvil.

Anvil 3 (Royal Palace): Within the Palace Ground Floor

The third Anvil demands a journey to the northern reaches of the region and entry into the expansive palace. Positioned at the middle of the palace's ground floor, this Anvil cannot be used for fast travel, either to or from.

Anvil 4 (Prophecy Space): Beside Lava-Filled Chasm

To access the fourth Anvil, you must first complete a Sealing Totem activity close to Anvil 3. Once accomplished, a gate unlocks on the palace's ground floor. Proceed through the gate to reach the fourth location near the chasm filled with lava.

Anvil 5 (Chapel): High Above Broken Bridge

The subsequent Anvil is ensconced in a hideout above the fractured bridge at the region's midpoint. To reach it, ascend to higher ground, leap and dash three times toward the red light within the cave's eastern wall. Traverse to the other side, then move right through the broken window to discover the Anvil.

Anvil 6 (Queen’s Passage): Behind Crush-Sealed Door

The final Anvil proves the most intricate to reach, located in an area accessible from The Wildlands. This door, distinguished by its red seal, necessitates the Crush ability, attainable through Gauntlet upgrades. After unlocking Crush, shatter the seal, venture within, and explore a new section of Bastengar's Underground.

Unearth the last Anvil adjacent to the cave's wall on the right, guided by the telltale green orb. With this feat accomplished, you've mastered all six Atlas Fallen Bastengar's Underground Anvils, enabling comprehensive fast travel within the region. Yet, the adventure continues, offering pursuits like obtaining Bastengar's Underground Lore Items.

Atlas Fallen Gameplay

Armed with a powerful ancient gauntlet, you'll harness the mystical power of sand manipulation to shape deadly weapons. Every strike against your foes will earn you Momentum, building up to a thrilling moment when your current weapon transforms, unleashing devastating special skills and abilities to annihilate your enemies.

Prepare to embark on an epic adventure across multiple vast and open regions, teeming with non-playable characters to meet and side quests to complete. Exploration is key in Atlas Fallen, and your gauntlet will be your trusty companion. Glide through the breathtaking desert landscape, perform awe-inspiring feats like air dashing, and uncover hidden areas by raising buried objects. As you progress, discover valuable "Shards" and "Catalyst Pieces" to further enhance your gauntlet's combat prowess.

But the excitement doesn't end there. Atlas Fallen offers a thrilling two-player cooperative multiplayer mode, allowing you and a friend to team up and conquer the challenges together. So, gather your allies and prepare to embark on a journey unlike any other in Atlas Fallen.
