Baldur's Gate 3

Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main installment in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the popular Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. Initially, a partial version of the game was released in early access format for macOS, Windows, and the Stadia streaming service on October 6, 2020.

The early access phase allowed players to experience the game's development and provide feedback. The full release on PC is scheduled for August 3, 2023, with the PlayStation 5 version following shortly after on September 6, 2023. An Xbox Series X/S port is also in development. Unfortunately, the Stadia version was canceled due to Stadia's closure.

Baldurs Gate 3 Minthara Guide Act

In the quest "Rescuing the Druid Halsin" in Baldur's Gate 3, players encounter three goblin leaders, one of whom is Minthara. By speaking with Minthara at the Shattered Sanctum, players have the option to reveal the location of the Druid Grove, which then allows them to assist the goblins in raiding the settlement. If players continue to collaborate with Minthara and proceed to slaughter everyone at the Druid Grove, a unique story arc unfolds, leading to the possibility of romancing her.

Upon successfully completing the quest in this specific manner, instead of having a party with the tiefling refugees, players now participate in a celebration with the goblins and Minthara. During the celebration, players have certain dialogue choices to make. They can express gratitude for fighting alongside Minthara, encourage her to embrace change, and suggest she should open her mind.

As the story progresses, Minthara will express her interest in spending more time with the player character and celebrating their victory. She'll offer to join the player character in their campsite and, if the player character agrees, a conversation begins near the center of the campsite. During this conversation, Minthara will ask if the player character is ready, and if the player character affirms their readiness, she'll propose joining them when they go to bed.

It's important to note that the game offers players the freedom to make their own choices and decisions throughout the story, and these actions will have consequences that affect the narrative and relationships with other characters in the game. The romancing option with Minthara is just one of the many branching paths players can explore in Baldur's Gate 3.

Baldurs Gate 3 Minthara Tips

  1. Tooltips appear near the top-right below the minimap and provide helpful information for certain moments, like jumping when you haven't learned how to do it yet.

  2. Hold Alt to make all lootable bodies visible nearby, including certain items.

  3. Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't autosave often, so remember to save frequently to avoid losing progress.

  4. If dice rolls in combat feel off, toggle the Karmic Dice setting in the game options to adjust the randomness.

  5. Use short rests and long rests at the campsite to recover health and spell slots. The buttons for rests are located near the minimap at the top right corner.

  6. If you need to light a torch and lack the Darkvision trait, you can do so by dipping it in a flame.

  7. Even if you can't disarm a trap, you can trigger it from afar by shooting it.

  8. Activated waypoints allow fast travel between locations, accessible by opening the map, except when underground or in certain areas that prevent fast travel.

  9. Some characters may have a trade button at the bottom left corner without offering a dialogue option to trade.

  10. If you sell something to a trader, you can try to steal it back by pickpocketing them.

  11. Certain classes like wizards and warlocks can learn spells for a sum of gold by right-clicking a scroll in their inventory.

  12. Look out for jumpable gaps while exploring, as Baldur's Gate 3 offers a large range for jumping both forward and up, leading to hidden secrets.

  13. Using a companion with Darkvision improves visibility while exploring dark areas.

  14. The minimap in the top-right corner has a marker indicating which way is north.

  15. Pressing Spacebar skips dialogue, useful for speeding up conversations or replaying content.

  16. End ability scores on even numbers, as odd numbers don't provide bonuses. Increasing stats above 14 costs two points for one score.

  17. To find specific equipment, click the equipment slot to see a list of all available items that character can use across everyone's inventory.

  18. "Save scumming" is allowed if you fail an ability check, allowing you to save beforehand and reload the game for a better outcome.

  19. To sell multiple items to a vendor at once, select them, right-click, and choose 'Add to Wares'. In the Trade/Barter menu, toggle to 'Trade' and select 'Sell Wares' at the bottom. You can also use this process to manage your inventory by selecting 'Send to Camp'.

  20. Play conservatively due to the limited resource system. Use cantrips often for spellcasters and conserve HP, as frequent long rests and camp supplies are limited in the early game.

  21. To interact with small, fast-moving targets like squirrels or handle traps, press Shift + Space to enter turn-based mode for easier interaction and infinite time to prepare. This can be accessed via the shortcut menu on a controller (Right Trigger).

Baldur's Gate Gameplay

Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game that offers both single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes. Players have the option to create one or more characters and assemble a party with computer-generated companions to embark on the game's story. Additionally, players can team up online with others, using one of their characters to form a cooperative party.

In contrast to previous entries in the Baldur's Gate series, Baldur's Gate III features turn-based combat, similar to Larian Studios' earlier games Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II. However, this time, the combat system is based on the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules, adding depth and strategy to the gameplay
