Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main installment in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the popular Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. Initially, a partial version of the game was released in early access format for macOS, Windows, and the Stadia streaming service on October 6, 2020.
The early access phase allowed players to experience the game's development and provide feedback. The full release on PC is scheduled for August 3, 2023, with the PlayStation 5 version following shortly after on September 6, 2023. An Xbox Series X/S port is also in development. Unfortunately, the Stadia version was canceled due to Stadia's closure

Opting for candor prompts the Traveler's interest in joining the return to camp for a conversation with Gale. It becomes swiftly evident that the Weary Traveler is trustworthy—an established friend and mentor to Gale.
Yet, their camaraderie doesn't signify cheerful tidings. After exchanging pleasantries with Gale and engaging in what appears to be a verbosity challenge, the Weary Traveler unveils his true identity as Elminster Aumar, a name that might trigger recognition.
If you've conversed with Rolan, a Tiefling refugee in Druid’s Cove with aspirations of becoming a wizard, his tale of journeying to Baldur's Gate to train under the renowned wizard Elminster Aumar might come to mind. While Gale, if in your party, expresses genuine enthusiasm for Rolan's aspirations, the connection is revealed: the enthusiastic wizard Rolan dreams of learning under is none other than the same Elminster.
