The Jiama Empire finds itself embroiled in a war initiated by an anonymous group, which has also captured the alliance leader.

This mysterious organization has offered to release the leader in exchange for removing the harmful toxins from his body. The true identity of Xiao Yan remains undisclosed, and the practicality of their proposed strategy is questioned during a conversation between Xiao Yan and Siau Yan. Xiao Yan holds the belief that the poison has caused Siau Yan's body to deteriorate and will lead to an explosion within two years.

Nonetheless, Xiao Yan manages to convince Siau Yan that he can gather the necessary resources to save him. Siau Yan disbands his army and apologizes to a figure known as Medusa, who has had a challenging year. Their initial meeting in the Magialbis Mountains led Medusa to assume that Xiao Yan and Siau Yan were friends. However, with the exposure of this mysterious group, trust begins to wane.

The conflict intensifies when the involvement of the Hall of Souls becomes apparent. To understand more about this group's objectives, Xiao Yan and Siau Yan capture one of its members while he's still alive. They are also on a quest to find Yau's father. Meanwhile, Xiao Yan worries about the consequences of not receiving treatment as his health deteriorates.

He remains steadfast in his belief that Xiao Yian can help him control the poison in his body. However, the challenge of gathering the required elements to create an antidote hinders their progress. There is some hope when Xiao Yan proposes one of the essential elements, the three types of cosmic fire.
