Hogwarts Legacy 

Hogwarts Legacy is a role-playing game set in the Wizarding World universe, developed by Avalanche Software and released under Warner Bros. Games' Portkey Games label. The game takes place in the late 1800s, a century before the events of the Harry Potter novels, and follows a Hogwarts student who learns magic and uncovers an ancient secret with the help of other students and professors. Despite controversy surrounding J.K. Rowling's views and accusations of including antisemitic themes, the game was released on February 10, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, with plans for release on other platforms later in the year.

After release, critics gave the game favorable reviews, praising its combat, world design, and characters, while criticizing technical issues and lack of innovation. The game quickly gained popularity, with early access gameplay resulting in record-breaking concurrent viewers on Twitch, making it the most-watched single-player game ever. Within two weeks, it sold over 12 million copies, generated $850 million in global sales revenue, and accumulated over 280 million hours played worldwide, breaking records for Warner Bros. Games.

Battlements Location Hogwarts Legacy 

In Hogwarts Legacy, The High Keep quest requires you to meet Natty at Falbarton Castle, which is situated to the northeast of Hogsmeade. The mission is to find an important letter that will expose the illegal activities of Harlow and Rookwood by scaling the castle battlements. However, the task becomes challenging due to a complex puzzle involving the main gates of the castle.

To solve the puzzle and climb the battlements, follow the steps provided in this guide. To collect Demiguise moons, you can search for them in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the surrounding villages of the Highlands. Keep in mind that some moons require a certain level of the Alohomora spell to locate. Therefore, if you haven't leveled up yet, it's best to avoid them for the time being.

Hogwarts locations

• The hidden room with the statue in it can be found in the locked bathroom cubicle in the middle 

• South Wing, which requires Level 1 access. Similarly, the statue in the Great Hall is located inside a locked door on a table to the right of the entrance, also requiring Level 1 access. The Potions Classroom statue is behind a locked door on the left after using the Daedalian Key cabinet and proceeding down the corridor, which requires Level 2 access.

• The Divination Classroom has the statue located on the teacher's desk with no required level access. The statue in the Library can be found on a desk to the left before the entrance to the secret chamber in the restricted section, also with no required level access.

• The Caretaker's Hut requires Level 2 access and can be unlocked by finding it across from the Beasts classroom, with the statue on a table inside. 

• The statue on a crate inside a locked door can be found by going east from the main entrance to the grounds and along the outer wall to a door below the steps up to the battlements, which requires Level 1 access.

• Dungeons: No Required Level

  • Find the statue of the sleeping dragon, go down the corridor behind it, and enter the first door on the left. Turn right in the room to find the statue on some drawers.

• Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower: Required Level 1

  • Enter the locked room to the right of the staircase when entering from the Transfiguration Courtyard. The statue will be on a desk directly in front of you.

• Professor Fig's Office: No Required Level

  • The statue is located directly behind the professor's desk, to the left of the fireplace.

• Tomes and Scrolls: No Required Level

  • Behind the shopkeeper's counter, there is a door leading to a bedroom where the statue is located on the dresser.

• House 1: Required Level 2

  • Go up the road from Tomes and Scrolls and take the first left. The second house on the left has a lock on it, and the statue is on the dresser upstairs.

• Hog's Head: No Required Level

  • Find the statue behind the bar in the room, located on some crates to your left.

• House 2: No Required Level

  • In the house next to J.Pippin’s Potions, the statue is located upstairs on the dresser.

• Three Broomsticks: Required Level 1

  • In the private room at the top of the pub, the statue is located on the table in the middle.

• House 3: No Required Level

  • From the main entrance of Three Broomsticks, turn to east and go straight down past pub. The first house on left after the Three Broomsticks has the statue upstairs on crate.

• Gladrags Wizardwear: No Required Level

  • The statue is located on the counter of the wizard armourer on the right-hand side of the shop.

• House 4: No Required Level

  • From Honeydukes, follow the road north up the stairs and immediately turn right, taking the path up the hill. At the top of the hill, turn right again and you’ll be facing the house. The statue is located on a table in the main room.

• House 5: No Required Level

  • The statue is located on the fireplace mantle in the house directly opposite from Brood & Peck.

Highlands locations

• Lower Hogsfield: Required Level 1
  • Located by the door in the house just in front of the village entrance.
• Keenbridge: Required Level 1
  • The statue is on a table in front of the door, in the house to the west of the village.
• Brocburrow: No Required Level
  • Found in the small house to the north of the village, left of the door.
• Upper Hogsfield: No Required Level
  • Can be located in a house northwest of the village, just up the road from the Floo Flame. The statue is on a bar stool across from the door.
• Pitt-Upon-Ford: No Required Level
  • The statue is in the house directly up the road from the Floo Flame, up two flights of stairs on the left.
• Irondale: No Required Level
  • Discovered in the small house to your right as you leave the Floo Flame, behind the counter on the west side of the house.
• Aranshire: No Required Level
  • Found in the house directly to your right as you’re looking at the Floo Flame, up the stairs, on the floor in front of the bed.
• Feldcroft: No Required Level
  • The statue is on the windowsill to your left as you enter the house on the southeast of the village.
• Marunweem: No Required Level
  • The statue is located in the house in the center of the village, northeast of the Floo Flame, behind the bar.
• Bainburgh: No Required Level
  • Located in the house on the north side of the village, on a coffee table next to an armchair.
• Cragcroft: No Required Level
  • The statue is on the bedside table, in the house on the northwest of the village, just behind the vendor and up the stairs.

How To Climb The Battlements And Open The Main Gate?    

To advance through the castle ramparts in Hogwarts Legacy, begin by walking towards the gate and taking a right through the gap in the low wall. Follow the path to a wooden scaffold and climb up to reach a hole in the castle ramparts. Turn left and you'll see a closed gate. Use Depulso on the turbine located on the left to open the gate.

After that, use Accio to grab the crate and move it to the wall just ahead of where you climbed up. Cast Levioso on the crate and climb up. Take the left doorway and follow the path until you come across a highlighted breakable wall. Use a damage spell, such as Confringo, to destroy the wall, revealing a crawl space that leads to another crate that cannot be moved from this location. Continue on the wooden walkway to the left around the tower until you see a broken window. Use Accio to move the crate through the window and clear the path.

Return through the crawl space into the room, where you'll find a mechanism to open the gate. Use Depulso on the turbine located on the left. Once the gate is fully lifted, use Accio on the pulley above the gate mechanism to keep it open. Don't forget to look up, as the pulley is high up and can be easily overlooked.

After a brief cutscene, Natty will join you. Head up the scaffold in front of you and up another ledge. In front of you, there is a crate in a doorway. Use Depulso to push it forward into a hole in the floor. Then, turn right, go down the stairs and use Accio to move the crate between the broken stairs and the ledge. Go to the end of the stairs and cast Levioso on the crate. Finally, jump across to the ledge above to continue with your quest.

How To Open The Main Gate Hogwarts Legacy?    

To initiate the climb up the battlements, proceed forward and to the right after your conversation with Natty. Use Depulso on the left mechanism, then use Wingardium Leviosa to move the crate to the right. Cast Levioso on the crate, climb on top of it, and then climb again to reach the upper rampart.

Once on the rampart, strike the wooden boards to reveal a crawlspace. Before entering it, head right and use Accio to move the crate in the room through the window. Once completed, return to the crawlspace and continue through it.

Inside, use Depulso multiple times on the gate mechanism, then quickly use Accio on the ring on the wall to prevent the gate from fully closing.

With Natty accompanying you, approach the gate to trigger a cutscene where Highwing the hippogriff breaks free while dark wizards cast spells at it.
