BGMI

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), formerly known as PUBG Mobile India, is a version of the popular game PUBG Mobile designed exclusively for players within India. This tailored gameplay was introduced following controversies surrounding data storage policies applicable to Indian users. Developed and published by Krafton, BGMI is an online multiplayer battle royale game.

The game's initial release took place on July 2, 2021, for Android devices, and later on August 18, 2021, for iOS devices. Impressively, BGMI achieved over 130 million downloads on the Google Play Store by July 2022.

However, a setback occurred when the Indian government imposed a ban on the game on July 28, 2022. This decision came amidst concerns related to the game's impact. Notably, the ban was lifted on May 26, 2023, according to a statement from Krafton.

An Instagram post by Battlegrounds Mobile India announced the launch of this new update.

The long-awaited BGMI 2.7 update patch notes have finally been unveiled, aligning with earlier predictions about the release date. Among the enhancements is the introduction of the A1 Royal Pass, which offers content spanning up to level 100. For completion midway through, players have the option to purchase 360 UC. Furthermore, reaching level 50 rewards players with an additional 360 UC, facilitating progression to level 100.

A notable addition to this Royal Pass is the Specter Slayer Set, which offers the remarkable ability to customize its color and minor details. This feature significantly enhances the game's experience. Notably, content creator Shreeman Legend shared his intention to opt for the color green, providing an advantage when blending into the green terrain and avoiding competition for ghillie suits at supply boxes.

BGMI 2.7 Update Features: New A1 Royal Pass

The upcoming BGMI 2.7 update patch notes introduce the ACE32 gun, which shares the same attachments as the AKM.

Some players are suggesting that this new firearm might serve as a replacement for the original AKM in the game, given their closely matched stats. However, SNAX clarifies that even though these two guns share remarkable similarities, the ACE32 won't effortlessly replace the OG AKM.

BGMI Gameplay

Battlegrounds Mobile India, abbreviated as BGMI, is a thrilling third-person and first-person survival shooter game that accommodates up to 100 players engaged in an intense battle royale. This dynamic game mode involves competing to be the last player or team standing. Participants can enter the fray either solo or in groups of up to four members.

The action kicks off with players parachuting from an aircraft onto one of seven distinct maps:

  • Erangel (Themed / Normal)
  • Miramar
  • Vikendi
  • Livik (Themed / Normal)
  • Karakin
  • Sanhok
  • Nusa (New)

With each new round, the flight path of the plane changes, prompting quick decisions from players regarding the ideal moment to jump and glide to the ground. Players commence the game without any gear, aside from customizable clothing options that don't impact gameplay. Once grounded, participants scavenge buildings, abandoned towns, and various locations in search of weapons, vehicles, armor, and other essential items. These items are randomly distributed across the map, with riskier areas generally containing superior equipment. Fallen players can also be looted for their belongings. Players can opt for either first-person or third-person perspectives, each offering distinct advantages and disadvantages in combat and situational awareness.

At regular intervals, the playable area of the map shrinks towards a random destination. Players caught outside this safe zone sustain gradual damage and eventually face elimination if they fail to reach safety in time. The shrinking zone is represented in-game by a shimmering blue wall that contracts progressively. This design leads to a more confined playing area, increasing the likelihood of encounters between players. Certain sections of the map are randomly marked in red and subjected to aerial bombardment during the match, posing a danger to those who linger.

Players are given advance notice before these events, affording them the opportunity to relocate to a secure position. Periodically, an aircraft traverses different parts of the map, or a player deploys a flare gun to summon it, releasing a loot package containing items that are typically unavailable during regular gameplay. These packages emit conspicuous red or yellow smoke, attracting interested players and often resulting in additional confrontations. A complete round of BGMI typically spans around 30 minutes
