Big Brother 25
"Big Brother 25" marks the 25th season of the popular American reality TV series, "Big Brother." Hosted by Julie Chen Moonves, this season began on August 2, 2023, and has been airing in the United States on CBS, as well as on Global in Canada.
Throughout their stay in the house, these HouseGuests share their thoughts and experiences in a private room known as the Diary Room. They participate in a series of competitions, starting with the Head of Household (HOH) contest at the beginning of each week.
The winner of this competition earns immunity from eviction and nominates two fellow HouseGuests for eviction. Additionally, a Power of Veto (PoV) competition takes place, involving six HouseGuests, including the reigning HOH, the nominees, and three others selected at random.
The PoV winner can choose to change one of the nominations, and if they do, the HOH must select a replacement nominee. The Jury members can only watch competitions and ceremonies involving the remaining HouseGuests, with no access to strategy discussions or interviews.
The viewing public also gets a say by selecting "America's Favorite HouseGuest," an additional award given to one of the evicted contestants, with the exception of those who left voluntarily or were forcibly removed due to rule violations.
