Bikini Kill is a punk rock band that started in Olympia, Washington, in October 1990. The original members were Kathleen Hanna, Billy Karren, Kathi Wilcox, and Tobi Vail. They were important in creating the riot grrrl movement, which used feminist ideas in their music.
