Rob intends to write an anonymous letter to the victim's wife after discovering that she hasn't moved on, but Mia is concerned that the letter could be traced back to them.
A heated argument ensues, and in the heat of the moment, Mia kills Rob by breaking his neck. From the hotel room window, she witnesses a self-driving pizza delivery truck striking a pedestrian. To create an alibi, Mia plays pornography in the room and disposes of Rob's body.
At the same time, Shazia (Kiran Sonia Sawar), a famous insurance investigator equipped with a "Recaller" device that permits her to view people's memories, visits the injured pedestrian.
She attempts to gather information by reconstructing his memories on a screen. During her investigation, Shazia identifies a woman who crossed paths with the pedestrian before the accident, leading her to a dentist who recalls seeing Mia observing the incident from her hotel room.

Mia kills Shazia, then drives to Shazia's home where she, wearing a mask, murders Anan while he is bathing. Just as Mia is leaving, having removed her mask, she notices the couple's baby son babbling in front of her. In order to eliminate any witnesses, she kills the baby, unaware that the child is blind.
The police employ the Recaller on the baby's pet guinea pig, which had observed the final murder. Armed with the evidence, the officers discreetly arrive at Mia's son's school production of Bugsy Malone, where Mia is present in the audience.
