Bloody Daddy Ending Explained
The climax of "Bloody Daddy" takes a dramatic turn as Sumair, determined to locate his son Atharv, follows Bunty, the bartender, to the room where Atharv is being held hostage. Bunty delivers pretentious meals to Atharv in this location. In a furious display of strength, Sumair eliminates everyone in his path and successfully rescues Atharv. However, the ensuing action sequences are poorly edited and fail to impress, accompanied by a subpar rendition of Hans Zimmer's score from "The Dark Knight" mixed with a lackluster song by Badshah.
Sumair manages to reach Sameer's car just as he's about to drive away, but his escape is cut short when Sikandar and Vicky catch up to him. Vicky is killed by Rafa, Hameed's right-hand man, while Aditi kills Rafa in retaliation. Amidst the chaos, Sumair seizes the opportunity to flee with Atharv. Sameer apprehends Sikandar and takes possession of the bag of money. While en route to the police station, Aditi realizes Sameer's treachery but is shot by him. Sameer proceeds to kill Sikandar and the police officer driving the car.
As the car careens off a ramp, Sameer tries to frame Sikandar for the crash. However, when Sameer is pulled out of the wreckage, he discovers that Aditi is still alive, foiling his plans and exposing his deceit. Sumair is rushed to the hospital, and after 48 hours, he is discharged and reunited with Atharv, Riya (Sumair's ex), and Akash (Riya's current love interest). Atharv, now convinced that Sumair is the best father in the world, chooses to spend more time with him instead of going on vacation with his mother and Akash.
In the final moments of the film, Aditi meets Sumair and informs him about an investigation into the missing three kilograms of cocaine from the bag. Although Sumair feigns ignorance and offers to assist the NCB with the search, Atharv discovers that the cocaine is in the glove box of Sumair's car. As Sumair drives away, Atharv begins to realize the truth—that his father is not a hero but a villain.
Despite his attempts to demean Riya for being pregnant without marriage and claiming to have endured hardships for Atharv's sake, Sumair's actions were driven by his pursuit of the cocaine. This revelation exposes him as a bad father, regardless of Ali Abbas Zafar's attempt to present him as a cool character. Sumair's true motives and actions make him a negative character, ultimately contributing to the film's overall shortcomings.

Bloody Daddy Movie Review
With a runtime of two hours, "Bloody Daddy" maintains a fast-paced and well-edited flow throughout. However, it falls short of reaching its potential as a captivating cat-and-mouse chase and fight. While the film kicks off with an exhilarating start, it quickly descends into a bland sequence of events that fails to deliver the expected adrenaline rush. Shot in just 36 days during the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic, the movie begins by highlighting the grim reality of the initial lockdown, the devastating second wave claiming lives, widespread unemployment, the rise in crime rates, and society adapting to the "new normal."
The director Ali Abbas Zafar to skillfully weave these elements into the narrative, yet disappointingly, they remain largely superficial. The occasional scenes showing people wearing masks, guests undergoing tests at a high-profile wedding, and criminals discussing the impact of the pandemic on their illicit activities provide mere glimpses without significant exploration.
Despite these missed opportunities, "Bloody Daddy" manages to maintain a gripping pace, thanks to efficient editing. The chase sequences and fight scenes are executed with precision, keeping viewers engaged. However, the film fails to transcend beyond being a standard action thriller, lacking the depth and impact that could have elevated it to a higher level.
Considering the limitations imposed by the pandemic and the commendable effort in completing the film within a tight schedule, "Bloody Daddy" falls short of fully capitalizing on its potential. While it offers moments of excitement, it ultimately leaves audiences wanting more substance and a stronger connection to the prevailing societal circumstances.
