At the beginning of "Born of Bread," control Loaf and head right to grab a ladle. Use it to whack barrels for clovers. Move west, then north, and descend torch-lit stairs. In a hallway, use the ladle on an exhibit to clear the way with a Royal Gem. Continue up the stairs to meet characters and engage in your first fight against Jester.
After the prologue, wake Loaf in the Forest of Roots. Go south, breaking acorns and leaf piles for clovers. Find Papa Baker on a tree stump, get the Druidic Sickle, and proceed east. Gain a new party member, Lint, by a creepy shack. Travel through various areas, including the Root Maze, learning about Lint's digging ability. Navigate the maze, fight enemies, and use Lint to reach The Outskirts.
