Brawlhalla Patch Notes 8.02 - All New Features

In Brawlhalla's Patch Notes 8.02, players can now individually ban two maps in all queues. Also, a new Spectate Delay option was added, letting players choose between a 1-second or 3-second delay for smoother viewing.

Brawlhalla 

Brawlhalla is a fighting game that you can play for free. It was made by Blue Mammoth Games. It first came out in 2017 for macOS, PlayStation 4, and Windows. Later, it was released for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Android, and iOS. You can play with people on different platforms in this game.

It was first shown at PAX East in April 2014 and started as an alpha version that same month. Then, there was a beta version in November 2014, and finally, the full game came out in October 2017. When it started, there were 34 characters you could play as. Now, as of September 2023, there are 60 characters called 'Legends' in the game. Each of these characters has their own abilities, gear, and looks.

Game imporvemnts

Gameplay

  • Players can now ban two Maps individually in all queues!
  • All platforms have a new option in System Settings: Spectate Delay. Select “Speed” for a 1 second delay, or “Quality” for a 3 second delay. 

UI

  • Chests are now available in one tab in Mallhalla!
  • Added a new toggle box for Cross-Progression. On PC, you can press C to toggle the star or click the boxes. On Xbox and Switch press “A” to toggle it. On mobile, tap to select. PlayStation will display the appropriate buttons when that goes live! 

Bug Fixes

Gameplay

  • Fixed a bug where players using a controller could not back out from the “rename local player” menu.
  • Fixed a bug where Gadget drop shadows were visible before the Gadget spawned.
  • Fixed a bug where the achievement/trophy for playing 30 Matchmade games required the player to play 50 Matchmade games.

UI

  • Fixed a bug where players could not pan or zoom the camera while paused in replay mode.

The free-to-play Legend rotation for this week features!

  • Ulgrim – Equipped with flawless Ivaldi creations, his Axe and Rocket Lance, the legendary blacksmith forges his way into battle!
  • Caspian – Led by his showmanship and thirst for danger, he has come to Valhalla armed with Katars and Gauntlets to put on a show!
  • Cassidy – The Marshal of the Old West is ready to instill justice into Valhalla with both Hammer and Blasters!
  • Fait – Speaking to the stars and using glimpses of the future, Fait battles for good with her Scythe and Orb!
  • Sidra – Known for her legendary and fearless raids, the Corsair Queen is prepared to fight with her Sword and Cannon

Brawlhalla is a game where you fight against other players. It's easy to get into because it's free to play.
