Chinese company ByteDance owns the short-form video hosting platform TikTok, also known as Douyi in China. It consists of various short-form user videos from the users for their daily content. Each video lasts only 10 to 15 minutes and will portray different kinds of pranks, stunts, tricks, jokes, dancing, and entertainment. It was first launched in the Chinese market as a Douyin network in September 2016, whereas TikTok was a popular app that could be used worldwide. Most people outside mainland China saw the release of TikTok on devices like iOS and Android in 2017. However, the app only worked globally on 2 August 2018, when it was connected with Musical.ly, another Chinese social media site.
Can You Find the Fourth Object Cup?
The popular trend on TikTok known as the "Find the Fourth Object" has gained significant traction, challenging users to locate four distinct objects within a given picture. The meme, which has captured the attention of millions of users, involves a visual puzzle where individuals must search for four specific items hidden within an image.
This trend has been circulating online since 2019 and is speculated to have originated from mobile game advertisements that intentionally make the task difficult, enticing users to engage with the ad for extended periods. One example of this challenge presents TikTok users with a cartoon image and tasks them with finding four different objects: a purple pillow, a white egg, a purple book, and a red cup.
Participants are encouraged to scrutinize the picture and put their observational skills to the test in order to successfully identify the elusive objects. The picture portrays a man and a woman in a bedroom, with the woman peacefully sleeping on one side of the bed and the man depicted gazing out through the curtains.
TikTok users in the comments said how they found the first three object quite quickly, but struggled with the cup.
“I found all but I did not find the cup,” one person wrote.
Someone else said: “I found a pillow, egg and the book. I can’t find cup.”
