Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do in this game to lock a door. There is currently no specific option available that allows you to securely lock yourself in a room or behind a door. While Sons of the Forest is currently in early access, there are still some improvements to be made. It is yet unknown if the developer of the game includes the ability to lock the door. You can use a different technique to protect yourself. You can prevent maneaters from entering your base by placing a log right at the base rather than locking a door. There are also some suggestions from other gamers. A user on the Steam Community said that you could set up a Target right next to the door and that will prevent opening the door.

How To Build a Door In Sons Of The Forest?

To make a door in the game Sons of the Forest, follow these steps:

• Build a wall first
• Stack logs to create an entrance. 
• Equip the axe and aim it at the wall.
• You can see a red rectangle appear on the log that you’re targeting.
• Left-click to create a vertical gap in the wall.
• To make a door frame, repeat the process for each log in the wall.
• Use the axe to split two logs in half vertically. 
• Place the split log by left-clicking on the white arrow pointing upwards. To finish the door, repeat this step three times.
