In the 2023 movie "Cassandro," the story revolves around Saul, a professional wrestler, and his journey to success and acceptance. But Gerardo wasn't comfortable with this and wanted to keep their relationship private.

In the early 1980s, there's a wrestler named Saúl Armendáriz who lives in El Paso, Texas. He often goes to Ciudad Juárez in Mexico for wrestling matches, where he fights as El Topo.
One day, he meets a new trainer named Sabrina. She thinks he should wrestle in a different style called exótico. Saúl likes the idea and adopts a new identity as Cassandro. This change brings him a lot of success and makes him a popular wrestler.
