Chloe Movie Plot

The film "Chloe" centers around Catherine, a successful gynecologist, and her husband David, a college professor, and their teenage son Michael.  Catherine suspects David of having an affair with a female student after seeing a picture of them together on his cell phone. Catherine hires a young escort named Chloe starring Amanda Seyfried to test her husband's loyalty.

Chloe reports back that David kissed her, which saddens Catherine. She also asks Chloe about her tests for sexually transmitted diseases. As Catherine and Chloe continue to meet, Chloe begins to describe in a very detailed manner of her sexual encounters with David, which seduces and arouses Catherine.

During a hotel meeting where Chloe claims she had a tryst with David, Chloe unexpectedly kisses Catherine, and they have sex. Catherine gets home late, and David questions her fidelity, leading to an argument in which Catherine admits to having been unfaithful with Chloe. However, David confesses to having been tempted but never acted on his impulses.

Catherine calls off her relationship with Chloe but finds out that she made up the stories of her encounters with David. Chloe later shows up at Catherine's house and has sex with Michael in Catherine's bed, telling Catherine that she loves her and only had sex with Michael because he reminds her of Catherine. Catherine pushes Chloe, and she falls to her death, but Catherine is seen wearing Chloe's hairpin at Michael's graduation party, suggesting that the family is reconciled.
