The 57th CMT Music Awards, which will take place at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on April 2, 2023, will be presented. The ceremony will be televised by CBS and hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown. The only totally fan-voted awards program for country music is the CMT Music Awards.

After the transfer of the ceremonies to CBS, this will be the second ceremony. The ceremony's opening artists have been named as Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown, and Katelyn Brown. CMT Music Awards- Overview

The CMT Music Awards are a fan-chosen ceremony that honors country music performances on television and in music videos. Every year in Nashville, Tennessee, the award show is presented, and it is live-streamed on CBS, CMT (Country Music Television), and other Paramount Global networks. With 25 victories, Carrie Underwood has received the most awards of any artist in CMT Music Awards history (from 2005 to the present). When Taylor Swift won Breakthrough Video of the Year at the 2007 CMT Music Awards, it was the first win of her career. Due to audience lighter waving during performances at country music concerts, the CMT Music Awards were formerly known as the CMT Flameworthy Music Awards.
