Crow Country is a 2024 survival horror game that was published and developed by SFB Games. It's available for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The game's visuals and design are inspired by classic horror games from the PlayStation 1 era, such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. In Crow Country, you have to be an investigator to explore an abandoned theme park.
The game received generally positive reviews from critics. Many praised its design for capturing the essence of earlier horror games and creating a spooky and immersive atmosphere. The writing and narrative were also well-received, with storytelling that kept players engaged throughout their journey in the theme park.
However, there were mixed opinions about certain aspects of the game. In Crow Country, there are hidden things called secrets that players can find. These secrets make the game more interesting. Players can discover a total of 15 secrets in Crow Country. Some of these secrets are easy to find, but others might be a bit tricky. To find all the secrets, players might need to solve puzzles.
These puzzles can be fun, but sometimes they are challenging. In Crow Country, players need certain keys and items to unlock some of the secrets. These keys and items are important for moving forward in the game's story.
1. Map of Secrets
To begin your journey in Crow Country, it's wise to first obtain the Map of Secrets. You can find this map by entering the code 8891 into a cabinet located in Crow's Lounge. The map will help you locate rooms containing hidden secrets throughout the game.
2. Magnum Laser
In a room between the Fairy Pond and the Staff Hallway, there's a hidden Magnum Laser. Look for a rectangular panel on the wall to the right of a fire extinguisher. Interact with this panel to reveal a robotic crow that awards you the Magnum Laser.
3. Shotgun Laser
After acquiring the Bronze Key, head to Fairytale Town and locate a mailbox across from the Swan Boats. Use the Bronze Key to open the mailbox, granting you access to the Dig Site. Near an orange machine in the Dig Site, you'll find the Shotgun Laser.
4. Magnum Ammo
Throughout Crow Country, you'll come across boxes of Magnum Ammo hidden in various locations. Keep an eye out in areas like the Room between the Dungeon and Staff Hallway, Witch Wood with the Woeful Mask, and other spots that require specific items or codes to access.
5. 44 Magnum
Inside the Gift Shop, use the Silver Key to enter. Then, input the code 1975 into the cash register. This action will grant you the powerful 44 Magnum.
6. Shotgun Upgrade
Within the Gift Shop, there's a refrigerator next to the cash register. Speak with the Mushroom inside this refrigerator after obtaining both the Silver Key and the Shotgun to receive a valuable Shotgun Upgrade.
7. Running Shoes
In the Staff Parking area, there's a brown car. Use the Silver Key to open its trunk, revealing a shoebox containing Running Shoes.
8. Handgun Upgrade
Visit the Mush Room and find a table with six place settings. Consume all the mushrooms served by using antidotes to cure poison as needed. After eating the sixth mushroom, interact with the Mushroom King to receive the Handgun Upgrade.
9. Flamethrower
With the Bronze Key and Data Disk in hand, enter the Train Room. Insert the Data Disk into the computer and input a specific solution. This action will allow you to collect the Flamethrower from a model train.
10. Flamethrower Upgrade
Return to the Haunted Manor with the Flamethrower. Play CAGE on the piano to reveal a hidden area. Inside, interact with a Mushroom to receive the Flamethrower Upgrade.
11. Magnum Upgrade
Use the Flamethrower to burn away a wooden door in Ocean Kingdom. Inside the Storage Room, find a Mushroom on a shelf next to a sea monster head. This Mushroom awards you the Magnum Upgrade.
12. Magnum Ammo (1)
After using the Flamethrower to access the Storage Room in Ocean Kingdom, input the code 1825 into a scale with an octopus. This action will grant you another box of Magnum Ammo.
13. Magnum Ammo (2)
By ringing the bell in front of the Haunted Manor eight times, a nearby window will open, allowing you to collect yet another box of Magnum Ammo.
14. Med Kit Upgrade
Enter a specific solution into the computer in the Dungeon. This action will lower a gate in The Crypt, granting you access to a coffin that contains the valuable Med Kit Upgrade.
15. Magnum Ammo (3)
After obtaining the Acid Bottle from the Crow Country's Dungeon puzzle, head to the Toilet near the Train Room. Remove the bones in the second stall to access another box of Magnum Ammo.
How to Solve All Secret Puzzles in Crow Country?
To solve all the secret puzzles in Crow Country, you'll need to follow some steps. First, find the map that shows where all the puzzles are. You can get this map by solving a puzzle in Neptune's Palace. Push the buttons on the drink machine in the right order (grape, lime, pineapple, strawberry) to reveal a code. Use this code in Crow's Lounge to unlock the map.
One of the puzzles is in the bathroom. There are bones blocking your way, but you can dissolve them with acid. Get the acid bottle from the Dungeon, fill it at the Friday chamber, and then use it on the bones in the bathroom. Your reward for this puzzle is Magnum Ammo.
At the dig site, there's a blue bucket behind the crane. Search it to find a shotgun laser sight. In the Haunted Mansion, play specific notes on the piano (C-A-G-E) to open a hidden painting and get an upgrade for your Flamethrower. In the Witch Wood Hedge Maze, grab Magnum Ammo from behind a falling pillar. The Crypt puzzle involves setting a computer to a human code (two arms, two legs, one head, two eyes) to open a drawer beneath Ophelia Pike for improved Med Kits.
The Mush Room puzzle requires eating all six mushrooms. Beware since some are poisonous, but with the right precautions, you'll get a pistol upgrade as your reward. In the Northeast Staff Hallway, access a hidden cavity on the wall for more Magnum Ammo.
The Gift Stop has two puzzles. Solve the cash register puzzle by adding specific price tags and entering the total amount to get a Magnum. Then, talk to a mushroom behind the counter for a shotgun upgrade. The Train Room puzzle involves inputting a code on a computer based on train car colors and names for a Flamethrower. With the gold key, open Edward Crow's car trunk in the parking lot for a pair of sneakers.
