Cube Escape

Cube Escape is a famous series of surrealistic room escape games, which was developed by the indie game studio called Rusty Lake. The games are heavily inspired by Twin Peaks and revolve around detective Dale Vandermeer, who investigates the death of Laura Vanderboom. As of June 2021, there are ten mainline games in the series, with the tenth game complemented by a limited edition of the Cube Escape: Paradox comic book, illustrated by Lau Kwong Shing. In October 2020, the Cube Escape Collection, a compilation of the first nine Cube Escape games, was released on Steam in anticipation of the discontinuation of Adobe Flash.

• Open the trapdoor and descend to escape.

3. Cube Escape: Arles

• You start in a bedroom with a locked door.
• Click on the painting on the wall and take the matches.
• Use the matches to light the candle on the dresser and reveal a code (9-3-7).
• Use the code to unlock the suitcase under the bed and take the knife.
• Use the knife to cut the painting on the wall and reveal a hole.
• Look through the hole to see a clue outside.
• Go outside and look at the window to see a symbol.
• Go back inside and use the symbol to unlock the box on the dresser and take the key.
• Use the key to unlock the door and escape.

4. Cube Escape: Harvey's Box

• You start in a room with a box.
• Click on the box and notice that it has three locks.
• Click on the dresser and take the key.
• Use the key to unlock the drawer and take the matches.
• Use the matches to light the candle on the dresser and reveal a clue (a star).
• Look at the painting on the wall and notice that it has a star on it.
• Click on the painting to reveal a safe.
• Use the clue to unlock the safe and take the gear.
• Use the gear on the machine next to the box to reveal a second gear.
• Use the two gears on the box to reveal a third gear.
• Use the three gears to unlock the box and escape.

5. Cube Escape: Case 23

• You start in a detective's office.
• Click on the safe and try to open it, but you need a code.
• Click on the typewriter and notice that it has a clue on it (DEATH).
• Click on the phone and dial 3-3-5-5-5-5-5 (the letters on the phone spell DEATH).

• Click on the plant to reveal a key, which unlocks the door.
• Click on the door to exit the room.

Summer

• Click on the record player and play the record.
• Use the code from the record (left, right, left, right, right, left) to open the drawer and collect the knife.
• Use the knife to cut the watermelon on the table.
• Collect the key from the watermelon and use it to unlock the door.

Fall

• Collect the axe from the tree stump.
• Use the axe to chop down the tree and collect the acorn.
• Place the acorn in the hole in the tree stump.
• Click on the door to exit the room.

Winter

• Collect the snowflake from the top left corner of the room and place it on the red ball.
• Use the key from the red ball to unlock the drawer and collect the hammer.
• Use the hammer to break the ice block on the table.
• Collect the key from the ice block and use it to unlock the door.

The Cave

• Click on the torch and light it.
• Click on the mirror to reveal a symbol.
