Momo and Serpo faced slim chances of completing their mission and surviving as the forest leading to the portal was overrun by aliens. Despite this, Serpo remained determined, claiming that retrieving the nut from the teleporter was their only hope of stopping the portal. Suddenly, a massive alien machine with fan-like appendages attacked the pair, creating a vacuum that sucked everything in its surroundings. Three humanoid creatures then separated Momo from Serpo and engaged her in close-range combat. Momo used her Ki and defeated two of the aliens. Serpo protected Momo from the remaining alien and asked her to use the same technique on it.
In the midst of the battle, Serpo got hit by one of the projectiles from the giant machine, causing significant damage. Momo found herself in a corner without Serpo's assistance. Although Momo used all her remaining Ki to fight the aliens, she couldn't defeat them. However, Vamola, who appeared in her Kaiju suit, unexpectedly joined the fight and landed a powerful blow on the alien machine. Vamola fought valiantly, almost turning the tide of the battle in favor of humanity. The alien leader handed a unique device to one of the humanoids, who used it to restrain Vamola's Kaiju suit and revert it to its original size. The leader then pulled Vamola out of the suit and killed her with his blade. Before dying, Vamola thanked Momo for her help.
