Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight is an online multiplayer horror game where one player is the bad guy (Killer) and four others are the good guys (Survivors). The Killer's job is to catch the Survivors and put them on hooks to please a bad force called the Entity. The Survivors must avoid getting caught and fix generators to escape.

The game was first released in 2016 on Windows and later on other platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, mobile devices, and more. The game was originally published by a company called Starbreeze Studios, but in 2018, Behaviour Interactive took over the publishing. While the game got mixed reviews when it came out, it was a big hit and has more than 50 million players. They are also working on a movie version of the game.

Dead by Daylight Gameplay

Dead by Daylight is a game where one player is the bad guy (Killer), and four others are the good guys (Survivors). The goal for Survivors is to escape by fixing generators and opening exit gates. The Killer's job is to catch and put the Survivors on hooks to please a bad force called the Entity. If there's only one Survivor left, they can escape through a hatch, but if the Killer closes it or the exit gate is opened, a countdown called the "Endgame Collapse" starts. Survivors must escape within two minutes, or they get sacrificed.

When the Killer is hunting Survivors, they can hurt them with their weapon. If a Survivor is hurt twice, they go into a dying state. They can also be grabbed by the Killer. Survivors can try to escape from hooks, but it's tough. Other Survivors can save them. If a Survivor is hooked for a third time, they get sacrificed.

Survivors can run, walk, crouch, or crawl to hide from the Killer. They can throw down wooden pallets to block the Killer. Killers have unique abilities, like turning invisible or running with a chainsaw. Survivors can find items like maps, keys, toolboxes, med-kits, and flashlights to help them. Killers have a "terror radius," which makes a heartbeat sound. Survivors hear it when the Killer is close. They can also see a red light showing where the Killer is looking. Some Killers can hide these signs to surprise Survivors.
