Dragon Ball Super is a Japanese Manga series written by Akira Toriyama and drawn by Toyotarou. It's set after the events of the original Dragon Ball story and follows the adventures of Son Goku and his friends. The comic started being published in June 2015 in a magazine called V Jump.
There's also an animated TV show made by Toei Animation that aired in Japan from July 2015 to March 2018. They even made a movie called Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which came out in December 2018 and was very successful. Another movie called Super Hero was released on June 11, 2022.

In an attempt to redeem the Galactic Bandit Brigade, Saganbo gets a power boost from Moro and goes on a rampage, fighting Goku until he can't handle the strain. Goku uses an unstable form called Ultra Instinct -Sign, but it drains his stamina. Vegeta arrives with a new skill, Forced Spirit Fission, weakening Moro by releasing absorbed souls and vitality. Moro then consumes Seven-Three, gains the power to copy abilities, and mortally wounds Goku and Piccolo.
Beerus and Whis help heal everyone and allow Merus, an angel, to fight Moro, but he's destroyed for violating angelic law. This motivates Goku to perfect Ultra Instinct, leaving Moro vulnerable. After some twists, Vegeta's aid, and a tough battle, Goku shatters Moro's crystal and defeats him.
The Namekian Dragon Balls restore the worlds Moro harmed, and Merus is resurrected as a mortal. Meanwhile, Granolah, a vengeful bounty hunter, acquires Seven-Three's remains and learns of Freeza's return while dealing with the sinister Heeters, setting the stage for new adventures.
