The game combines elements from various genres such as board games, collectible card games, bubble popping games, and puzzles. The primary gameplay consists of levels designed like board games, featuring spots dedicated to items, power-ups, traps, and battles. During battles, the player's characters engage with enemies using a puzzle system similar to match-3 games.
The player is presented with multiple orbs of different colors between their character and the enemy, and by matching different types of orbs, they can perform attacks or use special abilities.
As the player continues to match orbs, they eventually unlock the "Dokkan Mode" for one of their characters. In this mode, the player must tap seven targets arranged in a Z-shaped configuration as a ki orb passes over them. Activating Dokkan Mode allows the character to unleash a super attack that is significantly more powerful than a regular super attack.
