Baku is a challenging circuit with its mix of long straights and tight corners. Finding the right setup can be tricky, but with the following recommendations, you can maximize your performance and speed on this track.
Aerodynamics:
To achieve high top speeds, it's best to run with minimal wing levels. For Baku, a setup of 16-12 for front and rear wing angles will provide enough front-end grip for corner entry and rear stability for better traction and power delivery.
Transmission:
In F1 23, unlocked differential settings are generally favored. However, for Baku, it's recommended to adjust the on-throttle and off-throttle differential settings to 60% and 53%, respectively. This will enhance traction and power coming off the corners and improve rear stability when getting back on the throttle.
Suspension Geometry:
The suspension geometry settings for Baku remain consistent with previous setups. Set the front camber to -2.50 and the rear camber to -1.00. Toe values should be 0.00 for the front and 0.10 for the rear. No significant variation in these values is necessary.
Suspension:
The suspension settings provide the foundation for the car's overall performance. In F1 23, there are more adjustable options available. For Baku, a setup of 28-14 for the suspension values and 17-8 for the anti-roll bars is recommended. This stiffer front end will promote better rotation into the slow corners found in the middle part of the track. Brakes:

The Pirelli tyre settings in F1 23 are similar to previous versions. For Baku, use the minimum
allowed pressures: 22.0 PSI for the front tyres and 20.0 PSI for the rears.
Adjustments:
If you're an intermediate player using assists like traction control and ABS, the above setups should work well for you. However, if you want to fine-tune your setup for an additional advantage, consider the following adjustments:
Decrease wing levels by 1-3 clicks to improve top speed. Keep in mind that this may reduce turn-in capability and stability in high-speed direction changes.
Raise the front wing by a click or two if the car doesn't respond well during turn-in.
To enhance stability at low speeds, adjust the off-throttle differential to 53/54.
For a more responsive car, stiffen the front suspension and anti-roll bar, but be aware that this may make traction more challenging.
Adjust brake bias during the lap as needed. Moving it forward will enhance performance in heavy braking zones, while shifting it rearward is beneficial for lighter braking zones.
Lockups are easier to achieve in F1 23, particularly rear locking, so take caution when braking. Front locking is less severe, and adjusting brake bias can increase the likelihood of lockups in a specific direction.

In F1 23, the popular story mode called "Braking Point" makes a return from its introduction in F1 2021. The story mode features the comeback of characters Devon Butler, the main antagonist, and Aiden Jackson, the protagonist. Veteran driver Casper Akkerman, who has now retired, also makes an appearance. Additionally, a new character named Callie Mayer, Devon Butler's sister joins the cast. The story mode includes live-action scenes similar to Grid Legends, enhancing the narrative experience.
The driving physics in F1 23 have been overhauled, providing a new and improved gameplay experience. Players now have the option to set a 35% race distance. Red flags, which were last seen in F1 2014, make a comeback, adding to the realism of the game. The user interface (UI) has been redesigned to resemble the presentation style of current Formula One races.
