Fatal Attraction Ending Explained
In the final version of the film Fatal Attraction, Dan comes close to killing Alex by strangling her in her apartment but ultimately leaves to reconcile with his wife Beth. However, the sense of danger and unease continues as Alex unexpectedly appears in Beth's home, armed with a knife.
Dan intervenes and seemingly drowns Alex in the bathtub, but she reemerges from the water only to be shot and killed by Beth.
