In Fate/Samurai Remnant, you can play as different characters. The main character you'll control most of the time is Miyamoto Iori, who's the adopted son of the famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi.

Fate Samurai Remnant Plot
The story of Fate/Samurai Remnant unfolds in 1651, during Japan's Keian era. At this time, a Holy Grail War is raging amidst the backdrop of the Keian Uprising. Edo, which had experienced a period of intense conflict known as the Sengoku Period, has finally found some peace.
However, beneath the surface, a hidden battle is taking place. Masters summon heroic spirits, referred to as "servants," and these spirits include famous historical and legendary figures like Miyamoto Musashi and Jeanne d'Arc. Our protagonist, Miyamoto Iori, a young man hailing from Asakusa, becomes entangled in this war as he strives to secure the "Waxing Moon Vessel," an object capable of granting wishes. So, it's a tale of secrets, conflict, and the pursuit of a powerful artifact.
