FIFA 23 Update 8 Patch Notes Release Date

Title Update 8 was released on 21st February 2023 and is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (EA app/Origin/Steam/Epic Games Store), and Stadia versions of FIFA 23. FIFA 23 has a degree of crossplay. Crossplay could be obtained with the options of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Division Rivals (excluding co-op), FUT Ultimate Online Draft, FUT Champions, FUT Online Friendlies (excluding co-op), Online Seasons (excluding co-op seasons), FUT Play a Friend, Online Friendlies, and the Virtual representation of the Bundesliga. But, the crossplay is restricted to consoles that drop within the same console generation. For example, those on the PlayStation 4 could play with and against players on the Xbox One, but not on the Xbox Series X/S or PlayStation 5 and vice versa. Here note that the Pro Clubs will not support crossplay. The negotiation to omit Pro Clubs from cross-play has received criticism from the FIFA community.

World Cup Game Modes In FIFA 23

FIFA 23 contains both men's and women's World Cup game modes. They replicate the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. The 2022 FIFA World Cup mode was released on November 9, 2022, for all platforms except the Nintendo Switch Legacy Edition. The mode features only two out of eight stadiums, namely, Al Bayt and Lusail Iconic Stadium. The mode also features each of the 32 teams that qualified for the 2022 tournament, other than the fifteen other national teams that did not qualify. Those 15 teams are Finland, Austria, China, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Romania, Scotland, Sweden, and Ukraine.

FIFA 23 contains 21 new heroes in a fantastic deal with Marvel, adding to the already existing collection from FIFA 22 with the addition of new ones. Diego Forlán, Lúcio, Ricardo Carvalho,Jean-Pierre Papin, Rudi Völler, Rafael Márquez, Javier Mascherano, Tomas Brolin, Harry Kewell, Yaya Touré, Claudio Marchisio, Landon Donovan, Saeed Al-Owairan, Włodzimierz Smolarek, Park Ji-sung, Joan Capdevila, Sidney Govou, Dirk Kuyt, and Peter Crouch.
