Finding Dory Movie

Finding Dory is a 2016 American computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film that follows the story of the lovable amnesiac fish, Dory, as she embarks on a journey to find her long-lost parents. Produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, the film is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Finding Nemo (2003). Directed by Andrew Stanton, the movie features a star-studded cast, including Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks reprising their roles from the first film.

The film is produced by Lindsey Collins and written by Stanton and Victoria Strouse. In addition to DeGeneres and Brooks, the movie features new cast members, including Hayden Rolence, who replaces Alexander Gould, Ed O'Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Diane Keaton, and Eugene Levy.

Finding Dory takes place six months after the events of Finding Nemo. Dory suddenly remembers her parents and embarks on a journey across the ocean with her friends, Marlin and Nemo, to find them. Along the way, they encounter a variety of challenges and obstacles, including a group of sea lions and a near-sighted whale shark named Destiny.

The film received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, praising its animation, humor, and emotional depth. Finding Dory grossed over $1 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing animated film of 2016 and the second-highest-grossing animated film of all time at the time of its release.

Finding Dory Ending Explained

If you're a fan of Pixar movies, you know that they often include post-credits scenes that give a little extra insight or humor to the story of Finding Dory. One such scene in Finding Nemo shows the Tank Gang, a group of fish trapped in a dentist's office aquarium, still stuck inside their plastic bags as they float across the Pacific Ocean.

First of all, it's worth noting that the Tank Gang's survival in their plastic bags is highly unlikely. In real life, fish would not be able to survive for very long in a sealed plastic bag without access to food or oxygen. However, we have to remember that Finding Nemo is a work of fiction, and we have to suspend our disbelief a bit to enjoy the story.

Assuming that the Tank Gang did somehow manage to survive for a year in their bags, it's possible that they survived by feeding on each other. While this may seem gruesome, it's not uncommon for fish to resort to cannibalism in the wild when resources are scarce. Of course, this is just speculation, and we don't know for sure how the Tank Gang managed to survive.

Once they reached California, the Tank Gang was picked up by staff members from the Marine Life Institute. This is an interesting development, as the Marine Life Institute is the setting for the sequel to Finding Nemo, Finding Dory. It's possible that the Tank Gang's appearance in the post-credits scene was a hint at the upcoming sequel.

In Finding Dory, we see the Tank Gang reunited with Nemo and his father Marlin, who has come to the Marine Life Institute to find Dory. The Tank Gang helps them navigate the institute's exhibits and tanks, using their knowledge of aquarium life to assist in their search. It's a fun and satisfying reunion for fans of the original movie.

Finding Dory Plot

Dory, the regal blue tang, had a difficult childhood when she was separated from her parents, Jenny and Charlie, due to some unknown reasons. As she grew up, Dory tried to search for her parents, but her short-term memory loss made it extremely difficult for her to retain important information. Despite her memory issues, she remained optimistic and never gave up hope of reuniting with her family.

One day, Dory met Marlin, a clownfish, who was on a quest to find his son, Nemo. Together, they embarked on a dangerous journey through the ocean, encountering various challenges and obstacles. During their adventure, Dory's memory loss often caused problems for the group, but they managed to overcome them with teamwork and perseverance.

After a year of living with Marlin and Nemo in their reef, Dory suddenly has a flashback and remembers her parents. She decides to embark on a new quest to find them, but her memory problem is a major obstacle. However, Dory's determination and the help of her new friends give her the courage to overcome her limitations and pursue her dream.

Dory manages to recall an important detail about her parents' whereabouts - they lived at the "Jewel of Morro Bay, California" across the ocean. With this new information, Dory sets out on a perilous journey to find her parents, encountering new friends and challenges along the way. As Dory's journey unfolds, she learns valuable lessons about the power of determination and the importance of friendship.
